재단법인 경기창조경제혁신센터(대표 김원경, 이하 경기혁신센터)는 26일 중국 장쑤성 쑤저우 산업단지(Suzhou Industrial Park, 이하 SIP)와 글로벌 스타트업 교류 및 공동 성장을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
경기혁신센터는 판교 제2테크노밸리를 중심으로 스타트업 발굴·육성, 투자 연계, 글로벌 진출 지원 등 다양한 창업지원 프로그램을 운영하며 국내 혁신 창업 생태계를 이끌고 있다.
SIP는 1994년 중국과 싱가포르 정부 협력으로 설립된 국가급 경제개발구역으로, 반도체, 바이오, 인공지능(AI) 등 첨단 산업 분야를 중심으로 글로벌 기업과 연구기관이 밀집한 중국의 대표 혁신 클러스터다. 포스코, 삼성전자 반도체 등 주요 한국 기업도 SIP에 진출해 있으며, 최근 친환경 및 첨단 제조 분야로 사업 영역을 확대하고 있다.
이번 협약을 통해 한국 스타트업은 중국 시장 진출을 위한 교두보를 확보하게 됐으며, 반대로 중국 스타트업도 경기혁신센터의 지원을 받아 국내 진출 기회를 갖게 됐다.
협약식과 함께 경기혁신센터는 SIP 내 국제 R&D 및 창업 허브인 쑤저우 국제과학기술원(SISPARK)을 방문해 현지 주요 창업기업과 혁신 생태계를 점검했다. 이를 바탕으로 양 기관은 스타트업 교류 및 육성 프로그램, 시장 진출 지원, 오피스 공간 제공, 공동 펀드 조성 등을 추진할 계획이다. 양측은 한중 창업 허브 간 연대 체계 구축을 통해 아시아 혁신 생태계 확산을 도모한다는 방침이다.
김원경 경기혁신센터 대표는 “이번 협약이 국내 스타트업의 중국 진출에 실질적인 기반이 될 것”이라며, “SIP와의 협력 프로그램을 통해 스타트업들이 글로벌 시장에서 성과를 낼 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
SIP 관계자도 “경기혁신센터와의 협력은 한중 스타트업 교류와 동반 성장 촉진에 중요한 역할을 할 것”이라며, “양국 혁신 생태계가 세계 시장 진출에 기여할 것”이라고 밝혔다.

Gyeonggi Innovation Center Signs Business Agreement with Suzhou SIP
The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Won-kyung Kim, hereinafter referred to as the Gyeonggi Innovation Center) announced on the 26th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) in Jiangsu Province, China for global startup exchange and joint growth.
The Gyeonggi Innovation Center operates various startup support programs, including startup discovery and nurturing, investment linkages, and global expansion support, centered around Pangyo Techno Valley 2, and is leading the domestic innovation startup ecosystem.
Established in 1994 as a national-level economic development zone through collaboration between the Chinese and Singaporean governments, SIP is a representative innovation cluster in China, home to a concentration of global companies and research institutes focused on cutting-edge industries such as semiconductors, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence (AI). Major Korean companies, including POSCO and Samsung Electronics Semiconductor, have also established operations in SIP, and the sector has recently expanded into eco-friendly and advanced manufacturing.
Through this agreement, Korean startups have secured a bridgehead for entering the Chinese market, while Chinese startups, in turn, have access to support from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center and have the opportunity to enter the domestic market.
In conjunction with the signing ceremony, the Gyeonggi Innovation Center visited Suzhou International Science and Technology Park (SISPARK), an international R&D and startup hub within SIP, to inspect key local startups and the innovation ecosystem. Building on this experience, the two organizations plan to promote startup exchange and incubation programs, market entry support, office space provision, and joint fundraising. Both parties aim to expand the Asian innovation ecosystem by establishing a collaborative system between Korean and Chinese startup hubs.
Kim Won-kyung, CEO of the Gyeonggi Innovation Center, said, “This agreement will serve as a practical foundation for domestic startups to advance into the Chinese market,” and added, “Through our collaborative program with SIP, we will support startups to achieve success in the global market.”
A SIP official also stated, "Collaboration with the Gyeonggi Innovation Center will play a vital role in promoting exchanges and shared growth between Korean and Chinese startups," adding, "The innovation ecosystems of both countries will contribute to their entry into the global market."

京畿革新センター、蘇州SIPと業務協定締結

今回の協約を通じて韓国スタートアップは中国市場進出のための橋頭歩を確保することになり、逆に中国スタートアップも京畿革新センターの支援を受けて国内進出機会を持つことになった。
協約式とともに京畿革新センターはSIP内の国際R&Dおよび創業ハブである蘇州国際科学技術院(SISPARK)を訪問し、現地の主要創業企業と革新エコシステムを点検した。これをもとに両機関はスタートアップ交流及び育成プログラム、市場進出支援、オフィス空間提供、共同ファンドの組成などを推進する計画だ。両側は韓中創業ハブ間連帯体制の構築を通じてアジア革新生態系の拡散を図る方針だ。
キム・ウォンギョン京畿革新センター代表は「今回の条約が国内スタートアップの中国進出に実質的な基盤になるだろう」とし、「SIPとの協力プログラムを通じてスタートアップがグローバル市場で成果を出すことができるように支援する」と話した。
SIP関係者も「京畿革新センターとの協力は韓中スタートアップ交流と同伴成長促進に重要な役割を果たすだろう」とし、「両国革新エコシステムが世界市場進出に寄与する」と明らかにした。

配合签约仪式，京畿创新中心访问了苏州国际科技园（SISPARK），该园区是苏州工业园区（SIP）内的国际研发和创业中心，旨在考察当地重点创业公司和创新生态系统。基于此次考察，双方计划推进创业公司交流与孵化项目、市场准入支持、办公空间提供以及联合融资等工作。双方的目标是通过建立韩中创业中心之间的合作机制，拓展亚洲创新生态系统。
京畿创新中心首席执行官金元京表示：“这项协议将为国内初创企业进军中国市场奠定切实的基础。”他还补充道：“通过与SIP的合作项目，我们将支持初创企业在全球市场取得成功。”
韩国创新署（SIP）一位官员还表示：“与京畿创新中心的合作将在促进韩国和中国初创企业之间的交流和共同发展方面发挥至关重要的作用。”他补充说：“两国的创新生态系统将有助于它们进入全球市场。”

Le Centre Gyeonggi pour l'économie créative et l'innovation (PDG Won-kyung Kim, ci-après dénommé le Centre d'innovation Gyeonggi) a annoncé le 26 avoir signé un protocole d'accord avec le parc industriel de Suzhou (SIP) dans la province du Jiangsu, en Chine, pour un échange mondial de startups et une croissance conjointe.
Le Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi gère divers programmes de soutien aux startups, notamment la détection et l'accompagnement de startups, les liens d'investissement et le soutien à l'expansion mondiale, centrés autour de Pangyo Techno Valley 2, et est à la pointe de l'écosystème national des startups innovantes.
Créée en 1994 en tant que zone de développement économique nationale grâce à une collaboration entre les gouvernements chinois et singapourien, la SIP est un pôle d'innovation emblématique en Chine. Elle abrite une forte concentration d'entreprises internationales et d'instituts de recherche spécialisés dans des secteurs de pointe tels que les semi-conducteurs, les biotechnologies et l'intelligence artificielle (IA). De grandes entreprises coréennes, dont POSCO et Samsung Electronics Semiconductor, y sont également implantées, et le secteur s'est récemment développé dans les domaines de la fabrication écologique et avancée.

Les deux parties ambitionnent de développer l'écosystème d'innovation asiatique en établissant un système de collaboration entre les pôles de startups coréens et chinois.
Kim Won-kyung, PDG du Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi, a déclaré : « Cet accord constituera une base concrète permettant aux jeunes entreprises nationales de se développer sur le marché chinois », et a ajouté : « Grâce à notre programme de collaboration avec SIP, nous aiderons les jeunes entreprises à réussir sur le marché mondial. »
Un responsable du SIP a également déclaré : « La collaboration avec le Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi jouera un rôle essentiel dans la promotion des échanges et de la croissance partagée entre les startups coréennes et chinoises », ajoutant : « Les écosystèmes d'innovation des deux pays contribueront à leur entrée sur le marché mondial. »
