중소벤처기업부(장관 한성숙, 이하 중기부)는 ‘APEC 중소기업 장관회의(이하 중소기업 장관회의)’의 공식 연계행사로 카카오임팩트(이사장 류석영), 소풍벤처스(대표 한상엽)와 함께 ‘2025 기후테크 스타트업 서밋’(9.4~9.6)을 제주국제컨벤션센터 삼다홀 등에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.
‘기후테크 스타트업 서밋’은 2022년에 시작되어, 2023년부터 카카오임팩트와 소풍벤처스의 공동 주최/주관으로 매년 제주에서 개최하며 올해 4년차를 맞이했다. 지난 3년간 166개 기관 284명 이상이 참여하여 국내 최대 규모의 기후 AI 전문 서밋으로 자리 잡았다.
이번 서밋은 기후테크 분야의 혁신 스타트업과 글로벌 투자자, 대기업, 정부 및 정책 전문가 등 약 150명이 한자리에 모여, AI와 기후테크의 결합을 통해 기후위기를 효율적으로 해결하는 시스템 전환을 함께 논의할 예정이다.
주요 프로그램으로는 AI 반도체 유니콘 기업 리벨리온 박성현 대표의 ‘지속가능한 미래를 위한 기후AI 기술의 재정립’ 주제의 기조연설을 시작으로, ▲기후위기 관련 동향 ▲ 기후관련 자본의 흐름 ▲기후테크 스타트업 지원정책 기반 ▲ 생성형 AI시대 기후를 위한 기술생태계의 구성 등에 대한 심도 깊은 논의가 이루어질 예정이다.
또한, 국내외 유망 기후테크 스타트업과 투자기관이 대거 참여해 글로벌 투자 트렌드와 정책 협력 사례를 소개하고, 각국의 기후대응 전략과 연계된 기술 상용화 가능성도 심층적으로 논의한다. 이를 통해 한국 스타트업이 해외 시장에 진출할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고, APEC과 함께 글로벌 기후테크 생태계와의 연결을 강화해 나갈 예정이다.
카카오임팩트 류석영 이사장은 “발전하는 AI기술이 ‘돕는기술(Tech for Good)’로써 기후위기 해결에 기여하기 위해서는 전문가들간 다층적 연결이 필요하다”면서 ”중기부와 공동 개최로 이번 기후테크 스타트업 서밋이 더 다양한 주체들의 교류의 장이 되어 변화의 가능성을 구체화하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 강조했다.
또한, 소풍벤처스 한상엽 대표는 “AI와 기후테크의 결합은 기술 혁신을 넘어 제도, 시장, 투자의 변화를 이끌어낼 수 있는 새로운 가능성을 열고 있다”면서 “이번 서밋이 기후테크 스타트업들이 글로벌 시장에서 성장할 수 있는 발판이자 구체적인 협력 모델을 모색하는 장이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
중기부 한성숙 장관은 “이번 기후테크 스타트업 서밋을 계기로 APEC 회원국 간 공동 연구와 투자, 인재 교류를 촉진해 실질적인 성과를 만들어 내는 계기가 되기를 바란다.” 면서, “중기부는 앞으로도 기후테크 스타트업이 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖출 수 있도록 기후테크 창업생태계 조성을 뒷받침해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Han Sung-sook, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of SMEs and Startups) announced that it will hold the '2025 Climate Tech Startup Summit' (September 4-6) at the Samda Hall of the Jeju International Convention Center, together with Kakao Impact (Chairman Ryu Seok-young) and Sopung Ventures (CEO Han Sang-yeop), as an official event in conjunction with the 'APEC SME Ministerial Meeting (hereinafter referred to as the SME Ministerial Meeting)'.
The Climate Tech Startup Summit, launched in 2022, will be held annually in Jeju Island starting in 2023, co-hosted and organized by Kakao Impact and Sopung Ventures. This year marks its fourth year. Over the past three years, over 284 participants from 166 organizations have participated, establishing it as Korea's largest climate AI summit.
This summit will bring together approximately 150 climate tech startups, global investors, major corporations, government officials, and policy experts to discuss how to effectively address the climate crisis through the combination of AI and climate tech.
The main program will begin with a keynote speech by Park Sung-hyun, CEO of AI semiconductor unicorn company Rebellion, on the topic of “Redefining Climate AI Technology for a Sustainable Future,” followed by in-depth discussions on ▲climate crisis-related trends ▲flow of climate-related capital ▲base of support policies for climate tech startups ▲composition of a technology ecosystem for the climate in the era of generative AI.
Furthermore, promising domestic and international climate tech startups and investment institutions will participate in large numbers to showcase global investment trends and policy cooperation cases, and to delve into the potential for technology commercialization aligned with each country's climate response strategy. This will lay the foundation for Korean startups to expand into overseas markets and, in collaboration with APEC, strengthen their connections with the global climate tech ecosystem.
Kakao Impact CEO Ryu Seok-young emphasized, “In order for the developing AI technology to contribute to solving the climate crisis as a ‘Tech for Good,’ multi-layered connections among experts are necessary.” He added, “I hope that this Climate Tech Startup Summit, co-hosted with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, will become a venue for exchange among more diverse stakeholders and serve as an opportunity to concretize the possibility of change.”
Additionally, Sangyeop Han, CEO of Sopung Ventures, said, “The combination of AI and climate tech is opening up new possibilities that can lead to changes in systems, markets, and investments beyond technological innovation,” and added, “I hope this summit will serve as a stepping stone for climate tech startups to grow in the global market and a venue to explore specific cooperation models.”

中基部、「2025 岐阜テックスタートアップサミット」開催
中小ベンチャー企業部（長官ハン・ソンスク、以下中期部）は「APEC中小企業長官会議（以下、中小企業長官会議）」の公式連携行事で、カカオ・インファクト（理事長リュ・ソクヨン）、遠足ベンチャーズ（代表ハン・サンヨプ）と「2025気候テックスタート」。済州国際コンベンションセンター、サムダホールなどで開催すると明らかにした。
「岐阜テックスタートアップサミット」は2022年に始まり、2023年からカカオインファクトとピクニックベンチャーズの共同主催/主観で毎年済州で開催し、今年4年目を迎えた。過去3年間、166機関284人以上が参加し、国内最大規模の気候AI専門サミットに位置づけられた。
今回のサミットは、気候テック分野のイノベーションスタートアップとグローバル投資家、大企業、政府および政策専門家など約150人が一堂に会し、AIと気候テックの結合を通じて気候危機を効率的に解決するシステム転換を共に議論する予定だ。
主なプログラムとしては、AI半導体ユニコーン企業リベリオンパク・ソンヒョン代表の「持続可能な未来のための気候AI技術の再確立」テーマの基調演説を皮切りに、▲気候危機関連動向▲気候関連資本の流れ▲気候テックスタートアップ支援政策基盤▲生成型AI時代の気候予定だ。
また、国内外の有望気候テックスタートアップと投資機関が大挙参加し、グローバル投資トレンドと政策協力事例を紹介し、各国の気候対応戦略と連携した技術商用化の可能性も深く議論する。これにより韓国スタートアップが海外市場に進出できる基盤を設け、APECとともにグローバル気候テック生態系との連結を強化していく予定だ。
カカオインファクトのリュ・ソクヨン理事長は「発展するAI技術が「助ける技術(Tech for Good)」として気候危機の解決に寄与するためには専門家間の多層的連結が必要だ」とし「中基部と共同開催で今回の気候テックスタートアップサミットがより多様な主体たちの交流の場となっている。強調した。
また、ピクニックベンチャーズのハン・サンヨプ代表は「AIと気候テックの結合は技術革新を超えて制度、市場、投資の変化を引き出すことができる新たな可能性を開いている」とし「今回のサミットが、気候テックスタートアップがグローバル市場で成長できる足場であり、具体的な協力モデルを模索する場になることを期待する」と話した。
中期部ハン・ソンスク長官は「今回の岐阜テックスタートアップサミットをきっかけにAPEC加盟国間の共同研究と投資、人材交流を促進して実質的な成果を生み出すきっかけになることを願う。」一方、「中期部は、今後も岐阜テックスタートアップがグローバル競争力を備えることができるよう、岐阜テック創業生態系の造成を裏付けていく」と明らかにした。

Le ministère des PME et des Startups (ministre Han Sung-sook, ci-après dénommé le ministère des PME et des Startups) a annoncé qu'il organisera le « Sommet des Startups de la technologie climatique 2025 » (du 4 au 6 septembre) au Samda Hall du Centre international de congrès de Jeju, en collaboration avec Kakao Impact (président Ryu Seok-young) et Sopung Ventures (PDG Han Sang-yeop), en tant qu'événement officiel organisé conjointement à la « Réunion ministérielle des PME de l'APEC (ci-après dénommée la Réunion ministérielle des PME) ».
Le Climate Tech Startup Summit, lancé en 2022, se tiendra chaque année sur l'île de Jeju à partir de 2023. Organisé conjointement par Kakao Impact et Sopung Ventures, il célèbre cette année sa quatrième édition. Au cours des trois dernières années, plus de 284 participants issus de 166 organisations y ont pris part, faisant de cet événement le plus important sommet coréen consacré à l'intelligence artificielle et au climat.

Ryu Seok-young, PDG de Kakao Impact, a souligné : « Pour que les technologies d’IA en développement contribuent à la résolution de la crise climatique en tant que “technologie au service du bien commun”, il est indispensable de créer des liens à plusieurs niveaux entre les experts. » Il a ajouté : « J’espère que ce Sommet des startups spécialisées dans les technologies climatiques, co-organisé avec le ministère des PME et des Startups, favorisera les échanges entre un plus large éventail d’acteurs et permettra de concrétiser les possibilités de changement. »
Par ailleurs, Sangyeop Han, PDG de Sopung Ventures, a déclaré : « L’association de l’IA et des technologies climatiques ouvre de nouvelles perspectives susceptibles d’entraîner des changements dans les systèmes, les marchés et les investissements, au-delà de la simple innovation technologique. » Il a ajouté : « J’espère que ce sommet servira de tremplin aux jeunes entreprises de technologies climatiques pour se développer sur le marché mondial et constituera un lieu d’exploration de modèles de coopération spécifiques. »
