서울특별시가 조성하고 한국과학기술연구원(KIST)과 고려대학교가 운영하는 서울바이오허브는 글로벌 제약사 한국노바티스와 공동으로 ‘2025 헬스엑스챌린지 서울(Health X-Challenge Seoul)’ 프로그램에 참여할 디지털헬스케어 분야 스타트업을 모집한다고 8일 밝혔다.
‘헬스엑스챌린지 서울’은 서울시와 한국노바티스가 2020년부터 공동으로 개최해온 디지털 헬스케어 분야 공모 프로그램으로, 노바티스의 글로벌 오픈 이노베이션 경진대회인 ‘헬스엑스 월드 시리즈(HealthX World Series)’의 국내 연계 프로그램이다.
2025년 공모 주제는 ‘개인 맞춤형 및 의료 접근성을 강화한 헬스케어에서의 자기주도성 강화’이며, 모집 분야는 ▲디지털 헬스케어 솔루션 ▲헬스케어 핀테크 등이다.
최종 선정된 2개 기업에는 기업당 4천만 원 규모의 연구개발(R&D) 지원금과 함께, 노바티스의 연구개발 및 기술사업화 전문가로부터의 멘토링, 국제 네트워크 확대 지원, 서울바이오허브 1년 입주 공간 제공 등 후속 지원이 제공된다. 또한, 한국노바티스와의 시제품 공동 개발 기회도 주어진다.
지원 대상은 공고일 기준 창업 10년 이내의 스타트업 또는 예비창업자로, 2024년 9월 26일까지 온라인으로 신청할 수 있다. 이후 서류 심사 및 발표 평가를 거쳐 10월~11월 중 최종 선정 기업이 발표될 예정이다.
서울바이오허브 측에 따르면, 앞선 공모전에서 선정된 기업들은 서울바이오허브 입주와 노바티스 멘토링 등을 기반으로 상업화 계약 체결, 후속 투자 유치, 병원·기업 간 협력 등 구체적인 성과를 창출한 바 있다.
서울바이오허브 김현우 단장은 “헬스엑스챌린지 서울은 국내 디지털 헬스케어 기업이 글로벌 제약사와 협력할 수 있는 플랫폼 역할을 하고 있다”며, “올해도 유망 기업이 해외 진출의 발판을 마련할 수 있도록 다양한 지원을 이어갈 예정”이라고 말했다.

Seoul BioHub and Novartis Korea are recruiting companies to participate in the "2025 HealthX Challenge Seoul."
Seoul Bio Hub , established by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and operated by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) and Korea University, announced on the 8th that it is recruiting startups in the digital healthcare field to participate in the '2025 Health X-Challenge Seoul' program in collaboration with global pharmaceutical company Novartis Korea.
'HealthX Challenge Seoul' is a digital healthcare competition program jointly hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Novartis Korea since 2020, and is a domestic linkage program of Novartis' global open innovation competition, 'HealthX World Series'.
The theme of the 2025 contest is "Strengthening Self-Initiative in Healthcare by Enhancing Personalized Care and Accessibility," and the recruitment areas include ▲digital healthcare solutions ▲healthcare fintech, etc.
The two finalists will receive a research and development (R&D) grant of 40 million won per company, along with follow-up support, including mentoring from Novartis' R&D and technology commercialization experts, support for expanding their international network, and one-year residency at the Seoul Bio Hub. They will also have the opportunity to jointly develop prototypes with Novartis Korea.
Eligible applicants are startups or aspiring entrepreneurs established within the past 10 years as of the announcement date. Applications can be submitted online until September 26, 2024. Following document screening and presentation evaluation, the final selection will be announced in October or November.
According to Seoul Bio Hub, companies selected in previous competitions have achieved tangible results, including commercialization contracts, follow-up investment, and collaborations between hospitals and companies, based on their presence at Seoul Bio Hub and Novartis mentoring.
Kim Hyun-woo, head of Seoul Biohub, said, “HealthXChallenge Seoul serves as a platform for domestic digital healthcare companies to collaborate with global pharmaceutical companies,” and “This year, we plan to continue providing various support to promising companies so that they can lay the foundation for overseas expansion.”

最終選定された2つの企業には、企業当たり4千万ウォン規模の研究開発(R&D)支援金とともに、ノバルティスの研究開発及び技術事業化専門家からのメンタリング、国際ネットワーク拡大支援、ソウルバイオハブ1年入居スペース提供など後続支援が提供される。また、韓国ノバルティスとの試製品共同開発機会も与えられる。
支援対象は公告日基準創業10年以内のスタートアップまたは予備創業者で、2024年9月26日までオンラインで申請することができる。以後、書類審査及び発表評価を経て、10月～11月中に最終選定企業が発表される予定だ。
ソウルバイオハブ側によると、先行公募戦で選ばれた企業はソウルバイオハブ入居とノバルティスメンタリングなどを基盤に商業化契約締結、後続投資誘致、病院・企業間協力など具体的な成果を創出したことがある。
ソウルバイオハブのキム・ヒョヌ団長は「ヘルスエクスチャレンジソウルは国内デジタルヘルスケア企業がグローバル製薬会社と協力できるプラットフォームの役割をしている」とし、「今年も有望企業が海外進出の足場を設けられるように多様な支援を続ける予定」と話した。

“HealthX Challenge Seoul”是首尔市与诺华韩国自2020年起共同举办的数字医疗健康竞赛项目，也是诺华全球开放式创新竞赛“HealthX World Series”的韩国联动项目。
2025年大赛主题为“通过提高个性化护理和可及性来增强医疗保健领域的自主性”，招募领域包括▲数字医疗解决方案▲医疗金融科技等。
入围的两家公司将获得每家4000万韩元的研发补助金，以及后续支持，包括诺华研发和技术商业化专家的指导、国际网络拓展支持以及在首尔生物中心一年的驻留。他们还将有机会与诺华韩国公司共同开发原型产品。
符合资格的申请者为截至公告发布日期前10年内成立的初创企业或有志于创业的企业。申请截止日期为2024年9月26日，可在线提交。经过文件审查和演示评估后，最终入选结果将于10月或11月公布。
据首尔生物中心介绍，历届大赛入选企业通过入驻首尔生物中心及诺华公司的指导，取得了商业化合同、后续投资、医院与企业合作等切实成果。
首尔生物中心负责人金铉宇表示，“HealthXChallenge首尔是韩国数字医疗企业与全球制药企业合作的平台”，“今年我们计划继续为有潜力的企业提供各种支持，帮助他们奠定进军海外市场的基础”。

« HealthX Challenge Seoul » est un programme de concours de soins de santé numériques organisé conjointement par le gouvernement métropolitain de Séoul et Novartis Corée depuis 2020, et est un programme de liaison national du concours mondial d'innovation ouverte de Novartis, « HealthX World Series ».
Le thème du concours 2025 est « Renforcer l'auto-initiative dans les soins de santé en améliorant les soins personnalisés et l'accessibilité », et les domaines de recrutement comprennent ▲ les solutions de santé numériques ▲ la fintech de santé, etc.
Les deux finalistes recevront une subvention de recherche et développement (R&D) de 40 millions de wons par entreprise, ainsi qu'un accompagnement complémentaire, comprenant notamment un mentorat par les experts en R&D et en commercialisation technologique de Novartis, un soutien au développement de leur réseau international et une résidence d'un an au Seoul Bio Hub. Ils auront également la possibilité de développer des prototypes conjointement avec Novartis Corée.
Les candidats admissibles sont des startups ou des entrepreneurs en herbe, établis au cours des 10 dernières années à la date de l'annonce. Les candidatures peuvent être soumises en ligne jusqu'au 26 septembre 2024. Après examen des dossiers et des présentations, la sélection finale sera annoncée en octobre ou novembre.
Selon Seoul Bio Hub, les entreprises sélectionnées lors des concours précédents ont obtenu des résultats tangibles, notamment des contrats de commercialisation, des investissements de suivi et des collaborations entre hôpitaux et entreprises, grâce à leur présence au Seoul Bio Hub et au mentorat de Novartis.
Kim Hyun-woo, directeur de Seoul Biohub, a déclaré : « HealthXChallenge Seoul sert de plateforme aux entreprises nationales de soins de santé numériques pour collaborer avec les entreprises pharmaceutiques mondiales » et « Cette année, nous prévoyons de continuer à fournir divers soutiens aux entreprises prometteuses afin qu'elles puissent jeter les bases de leur expansion à l'étranger. »
