종합 리걸테크 기업 로앤컴퍼니(대표 김본환)는 SK텔레콤이 주도하는 인공지능(AI) 연합체 ‘K-AI 얼라이언스’에 신규 멤버사로 합류했다고 8일 밝혔다.
K-AI 얼라이언스는 국내 AI 산업의 경쟁력 강화와 글로벌 진출을 목표로 지난해 2월 출범한 민간 중심의 협의체다. 현재까지 37개 스타트업이 참여하고 있으며, 정부 주도의 ‘독자 AI 파운데이션 모델’ 프로젝트에 참여 중인 주요 AI 기업들도 멤버사로 포함돼 있다.
로앤컴퍼니는 법률 분야에 특화된 AI 기술 역량을 기반으로 이번 연합체에 참여한 첫 번째 리걸테크 기업이다. 회사는 지난 5일 일본 도쿄에서 열린 ‘K-AI 얼라이언스 글로벌 밋업’ 행사에 참석해 연합체 공식 활동을 시작했다. 이번 행사는 참여 기업들의 일본 시장 진출을 위한 네트워크 구축을 목적으로 마련됐다.
로앤컴퍼니는 2019년 법률 AI 연구소를 설립한 이래 지속적인 기술 개발을 이어왔다. 2022년에는 통합 법률정보 서비스 ‘빅케이스’를, 2023년에는 생성형 AI 기반 법률 서비스 ‘슈퍼로이어’를 출시하며 국내 리걸테크 분야에서 AI 기술을 선도해 왔다. 슈퍼로이어는 출시 1년여 만에 국내 개업 변호사의 약 절반 수준인 1만 5천여 명이 가입했다.
기술 성과도 주목받고 있다. 로앤컴퍼니는 올해 5월, 슈퍼로이어를 활용해 제14회 대한민국 변호사시험 객관식 문항에서 합격자 상위 5%에 해당하는 정답률을 기록한 바 있다. 이는 비영어권 AI 서비스로는 최초로 자국 언어 기반 변호사시험 전 영역에서 상위권 성적을 기록한 사례다. 또 정부 주관 ‘독자 AI 파운데이션 모델’ 프로젝트의 일환으로 업스테이지 컨소시엄에 참여하며, 5개 선정팀 중 하나로 활동 중이다.
로앤컴퍼니는 이번 연합체 참여를 계기로 국내 AI 생태계와의 협력을 강화하고, 법률 AI 기술의 해외 시장 확대에도 본격적으로 나설 계획이다. 회사는 현재 코리아스타트업포럼의 ‘AI 싱크탱크’ 참여, 법제처 간담회 참석 등 AI 관련 산업 정책 논의에도 활발히 참여하고 있다.
SK텔레콤 정희영 글로벌 A&I 센터장은 “법률 분야는 AI의 적용 가능성이 큰 영역 중 하나”라며 “로앤컴퍼니와의 협력을 통해 산업 간 시너지를 높이고, 글로벌 시장에서 K-AI 경쟁력을 강화해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
로앤컴퍼니 김본환 대표는 “K-AI 얼라이언스를 통해 국내외 유수의 AI 기업들과 협력할 수 있는 기회를 얻게 돼 의미가 크다”며 “리걸테크 산업의 혁신과 생태계 확장을 위해 적극 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

Law & Company Joins the K-AI Alliance
Law & Company (CEO Bon-Hwan Kim) , a comprehensive legal tech company, announced on the 8th that it has joined the SK Telecom-led artificial intelligence (AI) alliance, ‘K-AI Alliance,’ as a new member company.
The K-AI Alliance is a private-sector-led consultative body launched in February of last year with the goal of strengthening the competitiveness of the domestic AI industry and promoting its global expansion. To date, 37 startups have participated, and major AI companies participating in the government-led "Independent AI Foundation Model" project are also included as members.
Law & Company is the first legal tech company to join this alliance, leveraging its specialized AI technology capabilities in the legal field. The company officially launched the alliance's activities on the 5th by attending the "K-AI Alliance Global Meetup" event held in Tokyo, Japan. The event was designed to build a network for participating companies to enter the Japanese market.
Since establishing its Legal AI Research Institute in 2019, Law & Company has been continuously developing its technology. Launching "Big Case," an integrated legal information service, in 2022 and "Super Lawyer," a generative AI-based legal service, in 2023, Law & Company has pioneered AI in the domestic legal tech sector. Within a year of its launch, Super Lawyer had over 15,000 registered users, approximately half of the total number of practicing lawyers in Korea.
Technological achievements are also attracting attention. In May of this year, Law & Company achieved a correct answer rate in the top 5% of successful applicants for the 14th Republic of Korea Bar Examination multiple-choice questions using Super Lawyer. This marks the first time a non-English AI service has achieved top scores across all bar exam sections in a native language. Furthermore, as part of the government-led "Independent AI Foundation Model" project, Law & Company is participating in the Upstage Consortium and is one of five selected teams.
Through its participation in this alliance, Law & Company plans to strengthen its collaboration with the domestic AI ecosystem and actively expand its legal AI technology into overseas markets. The company is actively participating in AI-related industry policy discussions, including participation in the Korea Startup Forum's "AI Think Tank" and meetings with the Ministry of Government Legislation.
SK Telecom Global A&I Center Director Jeong Hee-young said, “The legal field is one of the areas with great potential for AI application,” and added, “Through collaboration with Law & Company, we will increase synergy between industries and strengthen K-AI’s competitiveness in the global market.”

K-AIアライアンスは国内AI産業の競争力強化とグローバル進出を目標に昨年2月に発足した民間中心の協議体だ。現在まで37のスタートアップが参加しており、政府主導の「独自AIファンデーションモデル」プロジェクトに参加中の主要AI企業もメンバー企業として含まれている。
ロアン・カンパニーは、法律分野に特化したAI技術力量を基に、今回の連合体に参加した最初のリガルテック企業だ。同社は5日、日本東京で開かれた「K-AIアライアンスグローバルミットアップ」のイベントに参加し、連合体の公式活動を開始した。今回の行事は参加企業の日本市場進出のためのネットワーク構築を目的に設けられた。
ロアン・カンパニーは、2019年に法律AI研究所を設立して以来、継続的な技術開発を続けてきた。 2022年には統合法律情報サービス「ビッグケース」を、2023年には生成型AIベースの法律サービス「スーパーロイヤー」を発売し、国内のリーガルテック分野でAI技術を先導してきた。スーパーロイヤーは発売1年余りぶりに国内開業弁護士の約半分の水準である1万5千人余りが加入した。
技術成果も注目されている。ロアン・カンパニーは今年5月、スーパーロイヤーを活用し、第14回大韓民国弁護士試験客観式質問で合格者上位5％に該当する正解率を記録したことがある。これは非英語圏のAIサービスでは最初に自国言語ベースの弁護士試験全領域で上位圏の成績を記録した事例だ。また、政府主管「独自AIファンデーションモデル」プロジェクトの一環として、アップステージコンソーシアムに参加し、5つの選定チームのうちの1つとして活動中だ。
ロアン・カンパニーは今回の連合体参加を契機に国内AI生態系との協力を強化し、法律AI技術の海外市場拡大にも本格的に乗り出す計画だ。同社は現在、コリアスタートアップフォーラムの「AIシンクタンク」参加、法制処懇談会に出席するなど、AI関連産業政策議論にも活発に参加している。
SKテレコムチョン・ヒヨングローバルA&Iセンター長は「法律分野はAIの適用可能性が大きい領域の一つ」とし「ロアン・カンパニーとの協力を通じて産業間の相乗効果を高め、グローバル市場でK-AI競争力を強化していく」と明らかにした。

Law & Company 加入 K-AI 联盟
综合法律科技公司KLaw&Company（代表金本焕） 8日宣布，已作为新成员公司加入SK电讯主导的人工智能（AI）联盟“K-AI Alliance”。
K-AI联盟是由民间企业主导的咨询机构，于去年2月成立，旨在增强韩国国内人工智能产业的竞争力，并促进其全球扩张。迄今为止，已有37家初创企业加入，参与政府主导的“独立人工智能基金会模式”项目的大型人工智能公司也成为其成员。
Law & Company是首家加入该联盟的法律科技公司，凭借其在法律领域的专业AI技术实力。该公司于5日在日本东京举行的“K-AI联盟全球见面会”上正式启动了该联盟的活动。此次活动旨在为参与公司建立网络，帮助他们进入日本市场。
自2019年成立法律AI研究院以来，Law & Company持续推进技术研发。2022年，Law & Company推出了综合法律信息服务“Big Case”，2023年，Law & Company又推出了基于AI的生成式法律服务“Super Lawyer”，引领韩国法律科技领域的AI发展。“Super Lawyer”上线一年内，注册用户超过1.5万，约占韩国执业律师总数的一半。
技术成果也备受瞩目。今年5月，Law & Company利用“超级律师”（Super Lawyer）系统，在第14届韩国司法考试选择题中，其正确率跻身合格考生前5%。这是非英语AI服务首次在母语司法考试所有科目中取得最高分。此外，作为政府主导的“独立AI基础模型”项目的一部分，Law & Company参与了Upstage联盟，并成为五支入选团队之一。
通过参与此次联盟，Law & Company计划加强与韩国国内AI生态系统的合作，并积极将其法律AI技术拓展至海外市场。该公司正积极参与AI相关产业政策讨论，包括参加韩国创业论坛的“AI智库”以及与政府法制部的会议。
SK Telecom 全球 A&I 中心主任郑熙永表示，“法律领域是 AI 应用潜力巨大的领域之一”，并补充道，“通过与 Law & Company 的合作，我们将增强行业间的协同效应，增强 K-AI 在全球市场的竞争力。”

Law & Company rejoint l'Alliance K-AI
Law & Company (PDG Bon-Hwan Kim) , une société de technologie juridique complète, a annoncé le 8 qu'elle avait rejoint l'alliance d'intelligence artificielle (IA) dirigée par SK Telecom, « K-AI Alliance », en tant que nouvelle société membre.
L'Alliance K-AI est un organisme consultatif dirigé par le secteur privé, lancé en février dernier dans le but de renforcer la compétitivité du secteur national de l'IA et de promouvoir son expansion internationale. À ce jour, 37 startups y ont participé, et de grandes entreprises d'IA participant au projet « Modèle de fondation indépendante pour l'IA » (Independent AI Foundation Model) mené par le gouvernement en sont également membres.
Law & Company est la première entreprise de technologie juridique à rejoindre cette alliance, exploitant ses compétences spécialisées en IA dans le domaine juridique. L'entreprise a officiellement lancé les activités de l'alliance le 5 janvier en participant à l'événement « K-AI Alliance Global Meetup » qui s'est tenu à Tokyo, au Japon. Cet événement visait à créer un réseau permettant aux entreprises participantes de pénétrer le marché japonais.
Depuis la création de son Institut de recherche sur l'IA juridique en 2019, Law & Company n'a cessé de développer sa technologie. Avec le lancement de « Big Case », un service d'information juridique intégré, en 2022, et de « Super Lawyer », un service juridique génératif basé sur l'IA, en 2023, Law & Company a été le pionnier de l'IA dans le secteur des technologies juridiques en Corée. Un an après son lancement, Super Lawyer comptait plus de 15 000 utilisateurs inscrits, soit environ la moitié du nombre total d'avocats en exercice en Corée.
Les avancées technologiques attirent également l'attention. En mai dernier, Law & Company a obtenu un taux de réponses correctes parmi les 5 % des candidats admis aux questions à choix multiples du 14e examen du barreau de la République de Corée grâce à Super Lawyer. C'est la première fois qu'un service d'IA non anglophone obtient les meilleurs scores dans toutes les sections de l'examen du barreau dans sa langue maternelle. Par ailleurs, dans le cadre du projet « Independent AI Foundation Model », mené par le gouvernement, Law & Company participe au consortium Upstage et fait partie des cinq équipes sélectionnées.
Grâce à cette alliance, Law & Company entend renforcer sa collaboration avec l'écosystème national de l'IA et étendre activement sa technologie d'IA juridique aux marchés étrangers. L'entreprise participe activement aux discussions sur les politiques sectorielles liées à l'IA, notamment au groupe de réflexion sur l'IA du Forum coréen des startups et à des réunions avec le ministère de la Législation.
Jeong Hee-young, directeur du centre mondial d'IA et d'innovation de SK Telecom, a déclaré : « Le domaine juridique est l'un des domaines présentant un grand potentiel d'application de l'IA », et a ajouté : « Grâce à la collaboration avec Law & Company, nous augmenterons la synergie entre les industries et renforcerons la compétitivité de K-AI sur le marché mondial. »
