라이프케어 플랫폼 기업 커넥팅더닷츠(대표 김희정)는 중소벤처기업부가 주관하는 ‘초격차 스타트업 1000+ 프로젝트’의 일환인 ‘Micro DIPS(Micro Deeptech Incubator Project for Startup)’ 사업에 최종 선정됐다고 22일 밝혔다.
Micro DIPS는 인공지능(AI) 및 딥테크 분야에서 기술 경쟁력과 성장 잠재력이 높은 초기 스타트업을 발굴해, 사업화 자금과 기술 고도화, 판로 확보, 글로벌 진출 등을 종합적으로 지원하는 프로그램이다. 커넥팅더닷츠는 이번 선정으로 유아동 돌봄 플랫폼 ‘째깍악어’에 적용 중인 케어 인텔리전스(Care Intelligence) 기술을 한층 고도화하고, 돌봄·교육·시니어 전반의 글로벌 시장 공략에 박차를 가할 계획이다.
커넥팅더닷츠의 케어 인텔리전스는 장기간 축적된 대규모 유아동 돌봄 데이터를 기반으로 개발된 인공지능 기술이다. 해당 기술은 ▲현장 데이터를 구조화·정량화하여 돌봄 상황의 다양한 상호작용과 발화를 체계적으로 수집·정형화하고, ▲유아동의 발화 및 맥락에 특화된 자연어처리(NLP) 커스텀 기술을 적용해 AI의 정밀도를 높이며, ▲실시간 피드백과 휴먼 인 더 루프(Human-in-the-loop) 기반 구조를 통해 지속적인 기술 고도화를 가능하게 한다.
회사 측은 이러한 기술적 기반이 경쟁사와의 차별화를 가능케 하며, 고령화 사회에 대응하는 시니어 케어 솔루션까지 포트폴리오를 확장 중이라고 설명했다. 특히, 시니어 돌봄 분야에서는 경도 인지장애(MCI) 및 치매 예방 단계에서 대화 기반 인지 분석과 맞춤형 인지중재 콘텐츠 추천 기능을 제공하는 AI 시스템을 개발 중이다.
또한 커넥팅더닷츠는 한국어 기반의 아동 및 시니어 발화 특성을 반영한 AI 모델을 다국어 환경으로 확장해 베트남, 일본, 영어권 등 글로벌 시장 진출을 가속화할 방침이다.

With this selection, Connecting the Dots plans to further enhance its Care Intelligence technology, currently applied to its childcare platform, "Jjakgak-eo," and accelerate its global expansion into the care, education, and senior care markets.
Connecting the Dots' Care Intelligence is an AI technology developed based on extensive, long-term accumulated early childhood care data. This technology: ▲structures and quantifies field data to systematically collect and formalize diverse interactions and utterances in care situations; ▲applies custom Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology specialized for the utterances and context of young children to enhance AI accuracy; and ▲enables continuous technological advancement through real-time feedback and a human-in-the-loop infrastructure.
The company explained that this technological foundation differentiates it from competitors and that it is expanding its portfolio to include senior care solutions to address the aging population. Specifically, in the senior care sector, the company is developing an AI system that provides conversation-based cognitive analysis and personalized cognitive intervention content recommendations for mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and dementia prevention.
Additionally, Connecting the Dots plans to accelerate its entry into global markets, including Vietnam, Japan, and English-speaking countries, by expanding its AI model, which reflects the speech characteristics of children and seniors based on Korean, into multilingual environments.
Kim Hee-jung, CEO of Connecting the Dots, said, “This selection as Micro DIPS is recognition of the potential for overcoming the structural limitations of the care industry through technology and the expansion of K-Care technology across the entire life cycle.” She added, “We will continue to build a care model based on technological standardization and ethical responsibility in line with the era of AI transition.”

La technologie Care Intelligence de Connecting the Dots est une technologie d'IA développée à partir de données exhaustives et accumulées sur le long terme en matière de soins à la petite enfance. L'entreprise a expliqué que cette base technologique la différenciait de ses concurrents et qu'elle élargissait son portefeuille pour inclure des solutions de soins aux personnes âgées afin de répondre aux besoins de la population vieillissante. Plus précisément, dans ce secteur, l'entreprise développe un système d'IA fournissant une analyse cognitive basée sur la conversation et des recommandations personnalisées en matière d'interventions cognitives pour le traitement des troubles cognitifs légers (TCL) et la prévention de la démence.
En outre, Connecting the Dots prévoit d'accélérer son entrée sur les marchés mondiaux, notamment au Vietnam, au Japon et dans les pays anglophones, en étendant son modèle d'IA, qui reflète les caractéristiques de la parole des enfants et des personnes âgées en fonction du coréen, dans des environnements multilingues.
