우주 AI 종합 솔루션 기업 텔레픽스(대표 조성익)는 아마존웹서비스(Amazon Web Services, 이하 AWS)가 주관하는 ‘AWS 스페이스 엑셀러레이터(Space Accelerator)’의 APJ 2025 프로그램에 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
AWS 스페이스 엑셀러레이터는 2021년부터 시작된 글로벌 우주 스타트업 지원 프로그램으로, 우주 산업의 복잡한 문제를 해결하는 기술 기반 스타트업을 발굴하고 지원하고 있다. 프로그램에 선정된 기업은 AWS 클라우드 크레딧, 기술·비즈니스 멘토링, 투자자 및 산업 파트너 네트워크 연결 등의 혜택을 제공받는다.
2025년 APJ 프로그램은 아시아 태평양 지역(호주, 인도, 일본 등)의 유망 우주 스타트업을 대상으로 진행되며, 이번에 총 67개 기업이 선정됐다. 한국 기업으로는 텔레픽스가 유일하게 이름을 올렸다.
텔레픽스는 초해상도 위성 영상 처리, 실시간 재난 감시, 국방·농업·환경 분야의 응용 서비스 등 위성 데이터 기반의 AI 솔루션을 개발·제공하고 있다. 회사 측은 이번 선정 배경에 대해 “위성 영상의 정밀 분석 기술과 다양한 산업군에 적용 가능한 확장성, 글로벌 시장 진출 가능성이 높은 점이 주효했다”고 설명했다.
이번 프로그램을 통해 텔레픽스는 AWS의 글로벌 클라우드 인프라를 활용해 자사 서비스의 성능을 강화하고, 글로벌 우주 시장 진출, 핵심 기술 고도화, 투자 및 전략적 파트너십 확대 등을 본격 추진할 계획이다.
텔레픽스 조성익 대표는 “이번 선정은 기술력과 성장 가능성을 국제적으로 인정받은 의미 있는 성과”라며 “AWS의 지원을 기반으로 위성 데이터 서비스를 고도화하고, 글로벌 시장에서의 경쟁력을 강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Telefix Selected for AWS Space Accelerator APJ 2025 Program
Telefix (CEO Seongik Cho), a comprehensive space AI solution company, announced that it has been selected for the APJ 2025 program of the 'AWS Space Accelerator' hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Launched in 2021, the AWS Space Accelerator is a global space startup support program that identifies and supports technology-based startups solving complex challenges in the space industry. Selected companies receive benefits such as AWS cloud credits, technical and business mentoring, and access to a network of investors and industry partners.
The 2025 APJ Program targets promising space startups in the Asia-Pacific region (including Australia, India, and Japan). A total of 67 companies were selected this year. Telepix is the only Korean company to be included.
Telepix develops and provides satellite data-based AI solutions, including super-resolution satellite image processing, real-time disaster monitoring, and application services in defense, agriculture, and the environment. The company explained its selection as being driven by its "precise satellite image analysis technology, scalability across diverse industries, and strong potential for global market entry."
Through this program, Telefix plans to leverage AWS's global cloud infrastructure to enhance the performance of its services, enter the global space market, advance core technologies, and expand investments and strategic partnerships.
Telefix CEO Cho Seong-ik said, “This selection is a meaningful achievement that has internationally recognized our technological prowess and growth potential.” He added, “With AWS’s support, we will further enhance our satellite data services and strengthen our competitiveness in the global market.”

2025年のAPJプログラムは、アジア太平洋地域（オーストラリア、インド、日本など）の有望宇宙スタートアップを対象に進行され、今回は合計67社が選ばれた。韓国企業ではテレフィックスが唯一名を挙げた。
テレフィックスは超解像衛星映像処理、リアルタイム災害監視、国防・農業・環境分野の応用サービスなど衛星データ基盤のAIソリューションを開発・提供している。同社側は今回の選定背景に対して「衛星映像の精密分析技術と多様な産業群に適用可能な拡張性、グローバル市場進出の可能性が高い点が主効した」と説明した。
今回のプログラムを通じて、テレフィックスはAWSのグローバルクラウドインフラを活用して自社サービスの性能を強化し、グローバル宇宙市場進出、核心技術の高度化、投資及び戦略的パートナーシップ拡大などを本格推進する計画だ。

Lancé en 2021, l'AWS Space Accelerator est un programme mondial de soutien aux startups spatiales. Il identifie et accompagne les jeunes entreprises technologiques qui relèvent des défis complexes dans le secteur spatial. Les entreprises sélectionnées bénéficient d'avantages tels que des crédits cloud AWS, un mentorat technique et commercial, ainsi qu'un accès à un réseau d'investisseurs et de partenaires industriels.
