우주산업 토탈 솔루션 전문기업 컨텍은 차세대 우주 데이터 보안 기술 확보를 위해 ‘우주보안기술본부’를 신설하고, 본부장에 홍석희 전 고려대학교 정보보호대학원장을 영입했다고 16일 밝혔다.
홍석희 본부장은 암호기술 및 정보보호 분야의 전문가로, 고려대학교에서 암호학 이학박사 학위를 받았으며 벨기에 루벤대학교에서 박사후연구원 과정을 거쳤다. 이후 고려대학교 정보보호대학원 교수 및 원장을 역임했으며, SCI급 저널과 국제 학회에서 150여 편의 논문을 발표했다. 특히 세계 표준 블록 암호화기술인 HIGHT 개발에 참여했으며, 국가정보원, 대검찰청, 한국정보보호학회 등에서 다양한 자문 및 위원직을 수행했다. 현재는 한국정보보호학회 산하 우주보안연구회 의장으로 활동 중이다.
컨텍은 이번 우주보안기술본부 신설을 통해 위성-지상국 간 데이터 암호화, 양자내성암호(PQC) 및 양자키분배(QKD) 기반 통신, 우주 데이터 무결성 검증 기술 등 우주 데이터 보안 전반의 기술 확보에 나설 계획이다.
2015년 설립된 컨텍은 위성 운용, 지상국 서비스, 위성영상 분석 등 우주산업 전 주기 솔루션을 제공하고 있으며, 현재까지 전 세계 11개국에 15기의 지상국 네트워크를 구축·운영 중이다. 올해에도 글로벌 네트워크 확장을 지속해 우주산업 시장 내 입지를 강화하고 있다.
컨텍 이성희 대표는 “우주산업의 상용화 진전에 따라 데이터 보안은 필수 요소로 자리잡고 있다”며 “국내 관련 기술이 초기 단계임에도 불구하고, 컨텍은 선제적 대응을 통해 글로벌 경쟁력을 강화할 것”이라고 말했다.

Contec establishes a new "Space Security Technology Headquarters" and hires Hong Seok-hee, former Dean of Korea University's Graduate School of Information Security.
Contec, a total solutions company specializing in the space industry, announced on the 16th that it has established a ‘Space Security Technology Headquarters’ to secure next-generation space data security technology and has hired Hong Seok-hee, former Dean of Korea University’s Graduate School of Information Security, as its head.
Director Hong Seok-hee is an expert in cryptography and information security. He received his Ph.D. in Cryptography from Korea University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Leuven in Belgium. He later served as a professor and director of the Graduate School of Information Security at Korea University and has published over 150 papers in SCI-level journals and international conferences. He was particularly involved in the development of HIGHT, the world's standard block encryption technology, and has served in various advisory and committee positions at organizations such as the National Intelligence Service, the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, and the Korea Information Security Society. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Space Security Research Group under the Korea Information Security Society.
Through the establishment of this new space security technology headquarters, Contec plans to secure technologies for all aspects of space data security, including satellite-ground station data encryption, quantum-resistant cryptography (PQC) and quantum key distribution (QKD)-based communication, and space data integrity verification technology.
Founded in 2015, Contec provides solutions for the entire space industry, including satellite operations, ground station services, and satellite image analysis. To date, the company has built and operates a network of 15 ground stations in 11 countries worldwide. This year, the company continues to expand its global network, strengthening its position in the space industry.
“As the commercialization of the space industry progresses, data security is becoming an essential element,” said Lee Seong-hee, CEO of Contec. “Despite the fact that domestic related technologies are still in their infancy, Contec will strengthen its global competitiveness through proactive response.”

宇宙産業トータルソリューション専門企業コンテクは次世代宇宙データセキュリティ技術確保のために「宇宙セキュリティ技術本部」を新設し、本部長にホン・ソクヒ前高麗大学情報保護大学院長を迎え入れたと16日明らかにした。

コンテックは今回の宇宙セキュリティ技術本部の新設を通じて、衛星-地上局間のデータ暗号化、量子耐性暗号(PQC)および量子キー分布(QKD)ベースの通信、宇宙データの整合性検証技術など、宇宙データセキュリティ全般の技術確保に乗り出す計画だ。
2015年に設立されたコンテクは、衛星運用、地上局サービス、衛星映像分析など宇宙産業全周期ソリューションを提供しており、現在まで世界11カ国に15基の地上局ネットワークを構築・運営中だ。今年もグローバルネットワークの拡大を続け、宇宙産業市場内の立地を強化している。

Contec 成立了新的“太空安全技术总部”，并聘请了韩国大学信息安全研究生院前院长洪锡熙。
专注于航天领域的整体解决方案公司康泰克（Contec）于16日宣布，已成立“航天安全技术总部”，以确保下一代航天数据安全技术，并聘请韩国大学信息安全研究生院前院长洪锡熙担任负责人。
洪锡熙主任是密码学和信息安全领域的专家。他于韩国高丽大学获得密码学博士学位，并在比利时鲁汶大学完成博士后研究。之后，他曾任韩国高丽大学信息安全研究生院教授兼院长，并在SCI级期刊和国际会议上发表了150余篇论文。他尤其参与了世界标准分组加密技术HIGHT的研发，并曾在国家情报院、最高检察厅和韩国信息安全学会等机构担任顾问和委员会成员。目前，他担任韩国信息安全学会下属空间安全研究组组长。
通过建立这个新的空间安全技术总部，康泰克计划保障空间数据安全各个方面的技术，包括卫星地面站数据加密、抗量子密码（PQC）和基于量子密钥分发（QKD）的通信以及空间数据完整性验证技术。
康泰克成立于2015年，为整个航天产业提供解决方案，包括卫星运行、地面站服务和卫星图像分析。迄今为止，该公司已在全球11个国家建设并运营着15个地面站。今年，该公司将继续拓展其全球网络，进一步巩固其在航天产业的地位。

Contec crée un nouveau « quartier général des technologies de sécurité spatiale » et embauche Hong Seok-hee, ancien doyen de l'école supérieure de sécurité de l'information de l'université de Corée.
Contec, une société de solutions globales spécialisée dans l'industrie spatiale, a annoncé le 16 qu'elle avait créé un « quartier général des technologies de sécurité spatiale » pour sécuriser les technologies de sécurité des données spatiales de nouvelle génération et qu'elle avait embauché Hong Seok-hee, ancien doyen de l'école supérieure de sécurité de l'information de l'université de Corée, comme son directeur.
Le directeur Hong Seok-hee est un expert en cryptographie et en sécurité de l'information. Docteur en cryptographie de l'Université de Corée, il a effectué un stage postdoctoral à l'Université de Louvain, en Belgique. Il a ensuite été professeur et directeur de l'École doctorale de sécurité de l'information de l'Université de Corée et a publié plus de 150 articles dans des revues scientifiques de niveau SCI et lors de conférences internationales. Il a notamment contribué au développement de HIGHT, la technologie de chiffrement par blocs de référence mondiale, et a occupé divers postes consultatifs et au sein de comités d'organismes tels que le Service national de renseignement, le Parquet suprême et la Société coréenne de sécurité de l'information. Il préside actuellement le Groupe de recherche sur la sécurité spatiale de la Société coréenne de sécurité de l'information.
Grâce à la création de ce nouveau siège social dédié aux technologies de sécurité spatiale, Contec prévoit de sécuriser les technologies pour tous les aspects de la sécurité des données spatiales, y compris le chiffrement des données entre les satellites et les stations au sol, la cryptographie résistante à l'informatique quantique (PQC) et la communication basée sur la distribution de clés quantiques (QKD), ainsi que la technologie de vérification de l'intégrité des données spatiales.
Fondée en 2015, Contec propose des solutions pour l'ensemble du secteur spatial, incluant l'exploitation de satellites, les services de stations au sol et l'analyse d'images satellitaires. À ce jour, l'entreprise a construit et exploite un réseau de 15 stations au sol réparties dans 11 pays à travers le monde. Cette année, elle poursuit le développement de son réseau international, renforçant ainsi sa position dans l'industrie spatiale.
