월세 카드결제 서비스 ‘집업페이(ZipupPay)’를 운영하는 데브디(대표 김기태)는 외국인 전자신원확인(eKYC) 전문 기업 토모로우(대표 조용우)와 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
이번 협약은 양사의 기술력과 영업 역량을 결합해 외국인 거주자를 위한 월세 결제 시장을 확대하기 위한 목적이다. 양사는 토모로우의 eKYC 기술과 집업페이의 결제 인프라를 연동해 외국인 거주자가 한국에서 보다 쉽고 안전하게 월세를 결제할 수 있는 환경을 구축할 계획이다.
협약의 주요 내용은 ▲외국인 결제 인증 프로세스 연동 ▲외국인 전용 결제 서비스 고도화 ▲외국인 주거 결제 시장 확대 협력 ▲공동 마케팅 및 홍보 추진 ▲기타 협력 분야 발굴 등이다.
데브디와 토모로우는 이번 협약을 통해 외국인 이용자가 별도의 계좌 개설이나 환전 절차 없이 인증, 결제, 정산을 한 번에 처리할 수 있는 시스템을 개발한다. 토모로우의 eKYC API를 집업페이 결제 인프라에 연동해 미국, 일본, 캐나다, 영국 등 주요국 신분증 및 비자 검증 기능을 지원하고, 인증 정확도 향상과 사용자 경험 개선을 공동으로 추진할 예정이다.
양사는 외국인 거주자를 주요 타깃으로 한 주거 결제 수요 공략에도 나선다. 미국과 일본을 시작으로 서비스 대상 국가를 단계적으로 확대하고, 공동 캠페인과 홍보를 통해 시장 내 인지도와 서비스 확산을 강화할 계획이다.
김기태 데브디 대표는 “이번 협력을 통해 국내 금융 서비스 접근이 어려웠던 외국인 거주자들이 보다 편리하게 월세를 결제할 수 있는 환경을 마련하게 됐다”며 “글로벌 주거 결제 시장의 진입 장벽을 낮추고, 월세 시장의 디지털 전환을 가속화하겠다”고 말했다.
조용우 토모로우 대표는 “데브디의 결제 인프라와 토모로우의 인증 기술이 결합하면 외국인 주거 결제 시장에서 큰 시너지가 기대된다”며 “외국인 거주자들이 한국에서 안전하고 효율적으로 결제할 수 있는 환경을 조성하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Devdi Signs Business Agreement with Tomorrow
Devdi (CEO Kim Ki-tae), which operates the monthly rent card payment service 'ZipupPay', announced that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with Tomorrow (CEO Yong-woo Cho), a company specializing in electronic KYC (eKYC) for foreigners.
This agreement aims to expand the monthly rent payment market for foreign residents by combining the two companies' technological and sales capabilities.
