인천창조경제혁신센터(대표 이재선, 이하 인천창경)는 11월 25일부터 28일까지 중국 상하이에서 ‘2025 빅웨이브 글로벌(중국)’ 프로그램을 운영하며 한국 스타트업의 중국 진출과 글로벌 투자유치를 지원했다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 인천창경과 이랜드차이나(EIV)가 지난 3월 체결한 중국 진출 업무협약 이후 KIC중국이 합류해 3개 기관이 공동으로 추진한 첫 후속 사업이다. 전국 모집을 통해 서류와 발표 평가를 거쳐 최종 7개 기업이 선정됐으며, 분야는 AI 의료기술, 방사선 치료 강화제, 바이오 소재, 헬스케어, 신소재·친환경 기술, 몰입형 디지털 콘텐츠 등 중국 시장과 기술적 접점이 높은 영역으로 구성됐다.
선정기업들은 사전 단계에서 기업 진단, IR 자료 및 티저의 중문 검토·번역, 중국 시장 분석, 현지 파트너 사전 매칭 등 중국 진출 기반 구축을 지원받았다.
상하이 현지에서는 COMAC, CATL 등 주요 혁신·제조·기술기관 방문과 팍슨뉴코아, 백련 AgeClub, ZX 등 소비·시니어·IP 콘텐츠 기반 복합 공간 탐방을 통해 중국 산업과 시장 생태계를 직접 경험했다. 또한 중국 법률·제도, 한국 기업 성공 사례, 현지 사업 전략 관련 전문가 세미나가 진행됐다.
핵심 행사인 글로벌 투자유치 IR은 27일 상하이 EIV에서 개최됐으며, 참여기업들은 기술력, 시장성, 중국 진출 전략을 중문으로 발표하고 현지 투자사·산업 파트너와 질의응답을 진행했다. 이어진 1:1 비즈니스 미팅에서는 투자사와 심화 논의가 이어지며 협업 가능성이 구체화됐다.
EIV는 30년 이상 중국 내 산업·리테일·투자 네트워크를 보유한 이랜드 그룹의 중국 법인으로, 한국 기업의 중국 진출에 필요한 행정 서비스를 제공하고 있다. KIC중국은 한국 과학기술·창업기업의 중국 시장 개척과 기술 협력을 지원하는 정부기관으로, 기술거래, 투자유치, 파트너 발굴 등 전주기 서비스를 제공한다.
28일에는 상해복단대학교에서 한국 스타트업과 중국 산학·연구계 간 기술교류회가 열렸다. 참여기업의 기술을 중심으로 공동연구, 산학협력, 파일럿 테스트 적용 가능성 등이 논의되었으며, 일부 기업은 후속 공동 프로젝트 논의를 이어갔다.
이재선 인천창경 대표는 “이번 빅웨이브 글로벌(중국)은 단순 해외 IR을 넘어 중국 산업·투자·학술 생태계를 직접 연결하는 글로벌 진출 플랫폼으로 자리매김하고 있다”며 “EIV, KIC중국과 협력을 확대해 한국 스타트업의 글로벌 스케일업을 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Incheon Center Launches "2025 Big Wave Global" Program
Incheon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Jae-seon Lee, hereinafter referred to as Incheon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation) announced that it supported Korean startups' entry into China and global investment attraction by operating the '2025 Big Wave Global (China)' program in Shanghai, China from November 25th to 28th.
This program marks the first joint initiative between Incheon Changgyeong and E-Land China (EIV), following the signing of a business agreement in March to expand into China. KIC China joined the initiative, and seven companies were selected through a nationwide application process and document and presentation evaluations. The programs cover areas with high technological relevance to the Chinese market, including AI medical technology, radiation therapy enhancers, biomaterials, healthcare, new materials and eco-friendly technologies, and immersive digital content.
The selected companies received support in establishing a foundation for entering China, including preliminary corporate diagnosis, Chinese review and translation of IR materials and teasers, Chinese market analysis, and pre-matching with local partners.
In Shanghai, participants visited key innovation, manufacturing, and technology organizations like COMAC and CATL, and explored complex spaces focused on consumer, senior, and IP content, such as Paxson Newcore, Bailian AgeClub, and ZX, providing firsthand experience of China's industrial and market ecosystem. Expert seminars were also held on Chinese laws and regulations, success stories of Korean companies, and local business strategies.
The key event, the Global Investment Promotion IR, was held at the Shanghai EIV on the 27th. Participating companies presented their technologies, market potential, and China entry strategies in Chinese and engaged in a Q&A session with local investors and industry partners. One-on-one business meetings followed, with in-depth discussions with investors, concretizing potential collaborations.
EIV, the Chinese subsidiary of E-Land Group, has over 30 years of experience in industrial, retail, and investment in China. It provides administrative services necessary for Korean companies entering the Chinese market. KIC China, a government agency supporting Korean science, technology, and startup companies in exploring the Chinese market and fostering technological cooperation, provides full-cycle services, including technology transfer, investment attraction, and partner discovery.
On the 28th, a technology exchange meeting between Korean startups and Chinese industry, academia, and research communities was held at Shanghai Fudan University. Discussions focused on the technologies of participating companies, including joint research, industry-academia collaboration, and the potential application of pilot tests. Some companies even continued discussions on follow-up joint projects.
Lee Jae-seon, CEO of Incheon Changgyeong, said, “This Big Wave Global (China) is positioning itself as a global expansion platform that goes beyond simple overseas IR and directly connects China’s industrial, investment, and academic ecosystems.” He added, “We will actively support the global scale-up of Korean startups by expanding cooperation with EIV and KIC China.”
Seven companies, including NearBrain, Osteobionics, VSPharmtech, Genohelix, Beyond Medicine, Millennial Works, and JH Global, participated in this program and discussed cooperation with local investment and technology partners.

核心行事であるグローバル投資誘致IRは27日、上海EIVで開催され、参加企業は技術力、市場性、中国進出戦略を中文で発表し、現地投資会社・産業パートナーと質疑応答を進めた。続く1:1ビジネスミーティングでは投資会社と深化議論が続き、コラボレーションの可能性が具体化された。

Le Centre d'Incheon pour l'économie créative et l'innovation (PDG Jae-seon Lee, ci-après dénommé Centre d'Incheon pour l'économie créative et l'innovation) a annoncé qu'il soutenait l'entrée des startups coréennes en Chine et l'attraction des investissements mondiaux en organisant le programme « 2025 Big Wave Global (Chine) » à Shanghai, en Chine, du 25 au 28 novembre.
Ce programme marque la première initiative conjointe d'Incheon Changgyeong et d'E-Land China (EIV), suite à la signature d'un accord commercial en mars visant à s'implanter en Chine.
