생성형 AI 스타트업 포티투마루(42Maru, 대표 김동환)가 24일 서울 여의도 금융투자협회 불스홀에서 열린 ‘제7회 대한민국 AI 중소기업 혁신 대상’ 시상식에서 대상인 중소벤처기업부 장관상을 수상했다.
이번 행사는 뉴스핌이 주최하고 중소벤처기업부, 중소벤처기업진흥공단, 기술보증기금, 중소기업중앙회, 벤처기업협회가 후원했으며, 유망 중소·벤처기업과 스타트업을 발굴하고 격려하기 위해 개최됐다. 심사는 매출·이익 성장, 사업모델 경쟁력, 기술 혁신, 글로벌 시장 진출 성과, ESG 경영 등 4대 기준을 중심으로 진행됐다.
포티투마루는 제조, 금융, 의료, 교육, 국방, 공공·행정 등 산업 전반에서 현장 적용 가능한 AI 전환(AX) 기술과 글로벌 확장 가능성을 평가받아 대상 수상 기업으로 선정됐다. 회사는 사실 기반 근거를 결합한 생성형 AI 적용 방식을 강조하며, 문서·규정·업무지식 기반 질의응답, 요약, 초안 작성, 업무 자동화 시나리오 등 산업 현장에 적용 가능한 AI 솔루션을 제공하고 있다.
포티투마루는 자체 개발한 도메인 특화 경량화 거대언어모델(LLM42)과 검색증강생성(RAG42), 인공지능 독해(MRC42) 기술을 결합해 정확도와 운영 효율을 동시에 고려한 기업용 AI 구축 방식을 제공한다. 기업용 Private 모드를 통해 내부 데이터와 고객 정보 유출 위험 없이 안전하게 AI를 활용할 수 있으며, 솔루션 구축과 운영 비용을 절감할 수 있다.
이날 시상식에서는 포티투마루 외에도 포시에스, 모두싸인, 원포유, 이노바이드 등도 각 분야별 기술력과 성장 잠재력을 인정받아 수상했다.

Generative AI startup 42Maru (CEO Dong-Hwan Kim) won the grand prize, the Minister of SMEs and Startups Award, at the '7th Korea AI SME Innovation Awards' held at the Bulls Hall of the Korea Financial Investment Association in Yeouido, Seoul on the 24th.
This event, hosted by Newsfim and sponsored by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, the Korea Federation of SMEs, and the Korea Venture Business Association, aimed to discover and encourage promising SMEs, venture companies, and startups. The judging process focused on four key criteria: sales and profit growth, business model competitiveness, technological innovation, global market penetration, and ESG management.
Forty2Maru was selected as the winner for its AI Transformation (AX) technology, which can be applied across industries including manufacturing, finance, healthcare, education, defense, and public administration, as well as its global expansion potential. The company emphasizes a generative AI approach that combines fact-based evidence and provides AI solutions applicable to industrial settings, including document, regulation, and business knowledge-based Q&A, summarization, drafting, and work automation scenarios.
FortiTumaru combines its proprietary domain-specific lightweight giant language model (LLM42), augmented search generation (RAG42), and artificial intelligence comprehension (MRC42) technologies to provide a method for building enterprise AI that simultaneously considers accuracy and operational efficiency. Private mode for enterprises allows for safe AI deployment without the risk of internal data and customer information leaks, reducing solution deployment and operational costs.
At the awards ceremony that day, in addition to FortiTumaru, PosiS, Modusign, Wonforyou, and Innovide also received awards in recognition of their technological prowess and growth potential in their respective fields.

La startup d'IA générative 42Maru (PDG Dong-Hwan Kim) a remporté le grand prix, le prix du ministre des PME et des startups, lors de la 7e édition des « Korea AI SME Innovation Awards » qui s'est tenue au Bulls Hall de la Korea Financial Investment Association à Yeouido, Séoul, le 24.
Cet événement, organisé par Newsfim et sponsorisé par le ministère des PME et des Startups, l'Agence coréenne des PME et des Startups, la Korea Technology Finance Corporation, la Fédération coréenne des PME et la Korea Venture Business Association, visait à identifier et à encourager les PME, les entreprises de capital-risque et les startups prometteuses. La sélection s'est basée sur quatre critères clés : la croissance du chiffre d'affaires et des bénéfices, la compétitivité du modèle économique, l'innovation technologique, la pénétration du marché mondial et la gestion des critères ESG.
Forty2Maru a été désignée lauréate pour sa technologie de transformation par l'IA (AX), applicable à divers secteurs tels que l'industrie, la finance, la santé, l'éducation, la défense et l'administration publique, et pour son potentiel de développement international. L'entreprise privilégie une approche d'IA générative qui combine des données factuelles et propose des solutions d'IA adaptées aux environnements industriels, notamment pour l'analyse de documents, la réglementation et les connaissances métiers (questions-réponses, synthèse, rédaction et automatisation des tâches).
FortiTumaru combine ses technologies propriétaires de modèle de langage géant léger et spécifique au domaine (LLM42), de génération de recherche augmentée (RAG42) et de compréhension de l'intelligence artificielle (MRC42) pour offrir une méthode de création d'IA d'entreprise qui prend simultanément en compte la précision et l'efficacité opérationnelle. Lors de la cérémonie de remise des prix ce jour-là, outre FortiTumaru, PosiS, Modusign, Wonforyou et Innovide ont également reçu des prix en reconnaissance de leurs prouesses technologiques et de leur potentiel de croissance dans leurs domaines respectifs.
Le PDG de FortiTumaru, Kim Dong-hwan, a déclaré : « Ce prix est une reconnaissance des vérifications AX et des réalisations technologiques que nous avons accumulées dans le domaine industriel », et a ajouté : « Nous continuerons à mener la transformation de l'IA dans tous les secteurs en tant qu'entreprise représentative de l'IA en Corée grâce à l'innovation technologique et à l'expansion sur le marché mondial. »
