한국인공지능·소프트웨어산업협회(KOSA, 회장 조준희)는 메가존클라우드, LG AI연구원, NC AI, 업스테이지, 유라클, 퓨리오사AI, 리벨리온 등 국내 주요 AI 기업들과 함께 K-AI 풀스택 모델 컨소시엄을 구성하고 글로벌 시장 공동 진출 프로젝트를 본격 추진한다고 밝혔다.
이번 컨소시엄은 속도와 실행력을 중시한 소수정예 체계로 운영된다. 해외 대형 프로젝트 수행 경험을 보유한 메가존클라우드가 주 계약 대상사를 맡고, 나머지 참여 기업들이 공동으로 프로젝트에 참여하는 방식으로 추진된다.
KOSA는 이번 컨소시엄 구성이 개별 기업 단위의 해외 진출을 넘어, 한국 AI 산업 전반의 신뢰도와 확장성을 높이기 위한 전략적 시도라고 설명했다. 기업 간 경쟁 구도를 넘어 협업을 통해 국가 차원의 AI 역량을 하나의 모델로 제시한다는 점에서 의미가 있다는 평가다.

K-AI 풀스택 모델은 AI 반도체, 클라우드 인프라, 파운데이션 모델, AI·NPU 운영 및 관리, AI 애플리케이션으로 구성된 5단계 구조를 기반으로 한다. 각 단계에는 참여 기업들의 검증된 기술과 실제 산업 적용 사례가 결합된다.
이번 프로젝트는 단순 기술 소개나 기업 나열 방식이 아니라, AI 인프라부터 서비스까지 유기적으로 연결·운영·확장되는 구조를 패키지 형태로 제시하는 글로벌 브랜딩 프로젝트로 추진된다. 이를 통해 해외 발주처가 국가 및 산업 단위의 AI 프로젝트를 선택할 수 있도록 설계됐다.
KOSA는 K-AI 풀스택 모델을 에너지와 제조 등 다양한 산업 분야에 적용하고, 향후 도시 및 국가 운영 영역까지 확장 가능한 글로벌 레퍼런스 모델로 발전시킨다는 계획이다. 이를 통해 국가 차원에서 검증된 산업용 AI 풀스택이라는 브랜드 이미지를 글로벌 시장에 정착시킨다는 방침이다.

KOSA Forms K-AI Full-Stack Consortium with Domestic AI Companies
The Korea Artificial Intelligence & Software Industry Association (KOSA, Chairman Cho Jun-hee) announced that it will form the K-AI Full Stack Model Consortium with major domestic AI companies such as Megazone Cloud, LG AI Research Center, NC AI, Upstage, Euracle, Furiosa AI, and Rebellion and begin a joint global market entry project in earnest.
This consortium will operate as a small, elite organization that prioritizes speed and execution. MegaZone Cloud, with its experience executing large-scale overseas projects, will serve as the primary contractor, while the remaining participating companies will jointly participate in the project.
KOSA explained that the formation of this consortium is a strategic effort to enhance the credibility and scalability of the Korean AI industry as a whole, beyond the overseas expansion of individual companies. It is considered significant in that it transcends competition among companies and presents a model for national AI capabilities through collaboration.
The core of the project is to bundle the technological capabilities of Korea's AI industry under the national brand "K-AI" and present them to the global market. Participating companies plan to propose complete AI models applicable to real-world industrial settings to overseas clients through a full-stack AI alliance model.
The K-AI full-stack model is based on a five-stage structure: AI semiconductors, cloud infrastructure, foundation models, AI/NPU operations and management, and AI applications. Each stage combines proven technologies from participating companies with real-world industrial applications.
This project is not simply a technology introduction or a list of companies. Rather, it is a global branding project that presents a packaged structure that organically connects, operates, and expands AI infrastructure and services. This is designed to enable overseas clients to select AI projects at the national and industry levels.
KOSA plans to apply the K-AI full-stack model to various industries, including energy and manufacturing, and develop it into a global reference model that can be expanded to cover urban and national operations. Through this, the company aims to solidify its brand image as a nationally proven industrial AI full-stack solution in the global market.
