재단법인 경기창조경제혁신센터와 ㈜벤처스퀘어가 창업 초기 기업 투자를 목적으로 한 60억 5천만 원 규모의 ‘브이에스 경기혁신투자조합 3호’를 결성하고, 지난 31일 결성총회를 개최했다.
이번 펀드에는 한국모태펀드(중소벤처기업부 계정)를 비롯해 크라우드웍스, 수원시, 경희대학교기술지주, 목원대학교기술지주, 서울과학기술대학교기술지주, 건국대학교기술지주, 숭실대학교 산학협력단, 한일전기 등 공공·민간·학계 출자자가 참여했다.
경기혁신센터와 벤처스퀘어는 본 펀드를 통해 모태펀드 창업초기 소형 분야를 중심으로, 업력 3년 이내 기업 또는 설립 후 연 매출 20억 원 이하의 창업기업을 주요 투자 대상으로 삼을 계획이다. 기술 경쟁력과 성장 가능성을 갖춘 초기 기업을 선제적으로 발굴해 성장을 지원하는 데 목적을 두고 있다.
투자 이후에는 공동 운용사인 경기혁신센터와 벤처스퀘어가 각각 운영 중인 TIPS 및 딥테크 TIPS 프로그램과의 연계를 통해 연구개발과 사업화 지원을 추진한다. 아울러 대·중견기업과의 오픈이노베이션 프로그램 연계, PoC 검증, 글로벌 진출 지원 등 기업 성장 단계별 지원도 병행할 예정이다.
이번 펀드는 출자자로 참여한 대학과 민간기업, 지자체의 기술·연구 인프라 및 사업 연계 역량을 투자기업 성장 과정에 활용하는 구조로 설계됐다. 이를 통해 기술 고도화와 사업화, 후속 투자 유치와 스케일업까지 단계적인 성장을 지원한다는 계획이다.
경기혁신센터는 벤처스퀘어와의 공동 운용을 통해 초기 창업기업의 투자 접근성을 높이고, 공공과 민간이 함께 참여하는 투자 생태계를 조성해 유망 스타트업의 성장을 지속적으로 뒷받침할 방침이다.

The Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center and Venture Square Co., Ltd. formed the 'VS Gyeonggi Innovation Investment Association No. 3' with a scale of 6.05 billion won for the purpose of investing in start-up companies, and held an inaugural general meeting on the 31st.
This fund was participated by public, private, and academic investors, including the Korea Mother Fund (account of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups), Crowdworks, Suwon City, Kyunghee University Technology Holdings, Mokwon University Technology Holdings, Seoul National University of Science and Technology Technology Holdings, Konkuk University Technology Holdings, Soongsil University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, and Hanil Electric.
Through this fund, the Gyeonggi Innovation Center and Venture Square plan to focus on small, early-stage startups, primarily those in the mother fund sector, with investments focused on companies in operation for less than three years or with annual sales of less than KRW 2 billion. The goal is to proactively identify and support the growth of early-stage companies with technological competitiveness and growth potential.
Following the investment, the company will pursue R&D and commercialization support through collaboration with the TIPS and Deep Tech TIPS programs, respectively operated by the Gyeonggi Innovation Center and Venture Square, its joint operators. Furthermore, the company will provide support at each stage of its growth, including linking with open innovation programs with large and medium-sized enterprises, PoC verification, and global expansion assistance.
This fund is structured to leverage the technology and research infrastructure and business-linked capabilities of participating universities, private companies, and local governments in the growth process of invested companies. This approach aims to support phased growth, encompassing technological advancement, commercialization, follow-up investment, and scale-up.
Through joint operations with Venture Square, the Gyeonggi Innovation Center plans to increase investment accessibility for early-stage startups and foster an investment ecosystem in which both the public and private sectors participate, thereby continuously supporting the growth of promising startups.

財団法人京畿創造経済革新センターと(株)ベンチャースクエアが創業初期企業投資を目的とした60億5千万ウォン規模の「VS景気革新投資組合3号」を結成し、去る31日結成総会を開催した。

京畿イノベーションセンターとベンチャースクエアは、本ファンドを通じてモテファンド創業初期の小型分野を中心に、業力3年以内に企業または設立後、年間売上高20億ウォン以下の創業企業を主要投資対象とする計画だ。技術競争力と成長可能性を備えた初期企業を先制的に発掘し、成長を支援することを目的としている。
投資後は共同運用会社である京畿革新センターとベンチャースクエアがそれぞれ運営中のTIPSおよびディープテクTIPSプログラムとの連携を通じて研究開発と事業化支援を推進する。また、大・中堅企業とのオープンイノベーションプログラム連携、PoC検証、グローバル進出支援など企業成長段階別支援も並行する予定だ。
今回のファンドは出資者として参加した大学と民間企業、自治体の技術・研究インフラ及び事業連携能力を投資企業成長過程に活用する仕組みとして設計された。これにより技術高度化と事業化、後続投資誘致とスケールアップまで段階的な成長を支援するという計画だ。
京畿革新センターはベンチャースクエアとの共同運用を通じて初期創業企業の投資へのアクセス性を高め、公共と民間が共に参加する投資生態系を造成し、有望なスタートアップの成長を継続的に裏付ける方針だ。

Le Centre d'innovation de l'économie créative de Gyeonggi et Venture Square Co., Ltd. ont formé l'« Association d'investissement dans l'innovation VS Gyeonggi n° 3 » dotée d'un budget de 6,05 milliards de wons dans le but d'investir dans des entreprises en démarrage, et ont tenu une assemblée générale inaugurale le 31.
Ce fonds a bénéficié de la participation d'investisseurs publics, privés et universitaires, notamment le Korea Mother Fund (compte du ministère des PME et des Startups), Crowdworks, la ville de Suwon, Kyunghee University Technology Holdings, Mokwon University Technology Holdings, Seoul National University of Science and Technology Technology Holdings, Konkuk University Technology Holdings, Soongsil University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation et Hanil Electric.
Grâce à ce fonds, le Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi et Venture Square prévoient de se concentrer sur les jeunes entreprises en phase d'amorçage, principalement celles issues de fonds d'investissement initiaux, en privilégiant les entreprises ayant moins de trois ans d'existence ou réalisant un chiffre d'affaires annuel inférieur à 2 milliards de wons coréens. L'objectif est d'identifier et de soutenir activement la croissance de ces jeunes entreprises à fort potentiel technologique et de croissance.
Suite à cet investissement, l'entreprise bénéficiera d'un soutien en matière de R&D et de commercialisation grâce à une collaboration avec les programmes TIPS et Deep Tech TIPS, respectivement gérés par le Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi et Venture Square, ses opérateurs conjoints. Elle offrira également un accompagnement à chaque étape de sa croissance, notamment en facilitant sa participation à des programmes d'innovation ouverte avec de grandes et moyennes entreprises, en validant ses concepts et en l'aidant à se développer à l'international.
Ce fonds est structuré de manière à tirer parti des infrastructures technologiques et de recherche ainsi que des compétences liées aux entreprises des universités, des entreprises privées et des collectivités locales participantes, afin de favoriser la croissance des entreprises bénéficiaires. Cette approche vise à soutenir une croissance progressive, englobant le développement technologique, la commercialisation, les investissements de suivi et l'expansion.
Grâce à des opérations conjointes avec Venture Square, le Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi prévoit d'accroître l'accès à l'investissement pour les jeunes entreprises et de favoriser un écosystème d'investissement où participent les secteurs public et privé, soutenant ainsi en permanence la croissance des jeunes entreprises prometteuses.
