주차 공간에서 실시간으로 빈 주차면을 안내하는 주차 내비게이션 ‘워치마일 (Watchmile)’ 시스템을 공급하는 ㈜베스텔라랩(대표 정상수)과 현대코퍼레이션㈜(회장 정몽혁)이 지난 31일 해외 시장 확장 진출 협력을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
이번 업무협약을 통해 양사는 베스텔라랩이 개발한 주차 최적화 AI 솔루션을 중동 시작에 확대 공급하는데 상호협력할 예정이다. 현대코퍼레이션은 전 세계 40여개 해외지사 및 법인으로 구성된 글로벌 네트워크와 48년간 축적된 사업 발굴·육성 역량을 활용해 시장 분석, 고객 개발 등을 지원할 예정이며, IT 분야 신규 아이템 발굴 및 사업 다각화를 도모할 계획이다.
베스텔라랩은 주차 최적화 AI 솔루션을 보유하고 있다. 세계 최고 수준 실내 측위 기술이 사용된 ‘워치마일(Watchmile)’은 LLM(Large Language Model)을 사용한 AI 모델을 적용하여기 구축된 방범용 CCTV 영상만으로도 주차면 점유 현황을 정확하게 분석한다. 이를 통해 실시간 주차현황 및 빈 주차 공간의 위치를 파악하고 이용자의 성향에 맞춘 최적 주차면으로 경로를 안내하는 서비스이다. 현재 인천국제공항, 서울역, 천호역 등 랜드마크 및 대형 공영주차장과 킨텍스 등 대형 전시장을 비롯하여 대규모 주거시설 및 다양한 지식산업센터 등에서 워치마일을 서비스 중이다.
