중소벤처기업부(장관 오영주, 이하 중기부)는 지역 제조기업의 디지털 혁신을 촉진하기 위해 ‘2025년 지역특화 제조데이터 활성화사업’ 수행기관을 모집한다고 밝혔다.
동 사업은 지역별 제조AI센터를 중심으로 제조 AI 관련 물리적 인프라와 전문 인력을 통합하여, 중소 제조기업이 AI 및 제조데이터를 효과적으로 도입하고 활용할 수 있도록 지원하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 통해 지역 제조기업의 디지털 전환을 가속화하고, AI 기반 제조 혁신 생태계를 조성함으로써 중소 제조기업뿐만 아니라 솔루션 공급기업을 포함한 제조 산업 전반의 경쟁력을 강화할 계획이다.
중기부는 AI 기술이 미래 산업의 핵심 요소로 부상하고 있음에도 불구하고, 중소기업들이 AI 도입에 어려움을 겪고 있다는 점을 이번 사업 추진의 주요 배경으로 설명했다.
현재 AI 전문인력 부족과 자금 제한으로 인해 많은 중소기업이 AI 기술을 활용하지 못하고 있으며, 특히 지역 제조기업의 AI 활용 및 디지털 전환을 촉진하기 위해 AI 전문인력과 솔루션 공급기업을 지역으로 확산할 필요가 있다. 이에 따라 지역별 제조AI센터를 구축하고, AI 및 제조데이터 활용을 촉진할 수 있는 지원체계를 마련하기 위해 이번 사업을 기획했다.
중기부는 수행기관을 선정할 때 ▲지역 주력 산업과 연계된 차별화된 프로그램 기획 여부 ▲기존에 구축된 지역 AI 및 제조 관련 물리적 인프라 활용 가능성 ▲지자체, 대학·연구기관 및 솔루션 공급기업 등과의 협력 체계 구축 여부를 우선 고려할 계획이다.
이를 통해 지역별 특성과 강점을 반영한 맞춤형 제조 AI 지원이 이루어질 수 있도록 할 예정이다.
이번 사업에서는 총 3개의 수행기관을 선정할 예정이며, 수행기관은 지자체, 지역 내 제조혁신 관련 전문기관, 대학 및 연구기관, 중소·중견기업 및 대기업 등으로 구성된 컨소시엄 형태로 참여 가능하다.
선정된 수행기관은 제조AI센터 구축 및 운영, 지역 제조기업 특성에 맞는 AI 솔루션 확보 및 보급, 우수성과 사례 발굴 및 확산 등의 역할을 수행하게 된다.
사업 지원 규모는 제조AI센터 1곳당 최대 120억 원(약 31개월)이며, 이 중 국비는 최대 50%까지 지원된다. 나머지는 지방비 및 민간부담금 매칭을 통해 조달해야 한다.
참여를 희망하는 기관은 오는 4월 1일부터 14일까지 스마트공장 사업관리시스템을 통해 신청할 수 있다. 자세한 사항은 중기부 누리집 또는 스마트공장 사업관리시스템에서 확인할 수 있다.

Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Recruitment of Regional Specialized Manufacturing AI Center Implementation Organizations
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (Minister Oh Young-joo, hereinafter referred to as the Ministry of SMEs and Startups) announced that it is recruiting implementation organizations for the '2025 Regional Specialized Manufacturing Data Activation Project' to promote digital innovation in regional manufacturing companies.
This project aims to support small and medium-sized manufacturing companies to effectively introduce and utilize AI and manufacturing data by integrating manufacturing AI-related physical infrastructure and professional manpower centered on regional manufacturing AI centers. Through this, we plan to accelerate the digital transformation of regional manufacturing companies and create an AI-based manufacturing innovation ecosystem, thereby strengthening the competitiveness of the entire manufacturing industry, including not only small and medium-sized manufacturing companies but also solution providers.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups explained that the main reason for promoting this project is that small and medium-sized enterprises are having difficulties introducing AI, despite the fact that AI technology is emerging as a key element of future industries.
Currently, due to the lack of AI experts and funding constraints, many small and medium-sized enterprises are unable to utilize AI technology. In particular, in order to promote AI utilization and digital transformation of local manufacturing companies, it is necessary to expand AI experts and solution providers to the region. Accordingly, this project was planned to establish regional manufacturing AI centers and establish a support system that can promote the use of AI and manufacturing data.
When selecting implementing agencies, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups plans to give priority to ▲ whether there is differentiated program planning linked to key regional industries, ▲ the possibility of utilizing existing regional physical infrastructure related to AI and manufacturing, and ▲ whether there is establishment of a cooperative system with local governments, universities, research institutes, and solution providers.
This will enable customized manufacturing AI support that reflects regional characteristics and strengths.
A total of three implementing agencies will be selected for this project, and implementing agencies can participate in the form of a consortium comprised of local governments, regional manufacturing innovation-related specialized agencies, universities and research institutes, small and medium-sized enterprises, and large corporations.
The selected implementing agency will be responsible for establishing and operating a manufacturing AI center, securing and distributing AI solutions suited to the characteristics of regional manufacturing companies, and discovering and disseminating cases of excellence.
The scale of business support is up to 12 billion won (approximately 31 months) per manufacturing AI center, of which up to 50% is supported by national funds. The remainder must be procured through matching of local government funds and private sector contributions.

現在、AI専門人材の不足と資金制限により、多くの中小企業がAI技術を活用できず、特に地域製造企業のAI活用とデジタル転換を促進するために、AI専門人材とソリューション供給企業を地域に広げる必要がある。これにより、地域別製造AIセンターを構築し、AIおよび製造データの活用を促進できる支援体系を整えるために今回の事業を企画した。
中期部は遂行機関を選定する際に、▲地域主力産業と連携した差別化されたプログラム企画の有無▲既存に構築された地域ＡＩ及び製造関連の物理インフラ活用可能性▲自治体、大学・研究機関及びソリューション供給企業などとの協力体制の構築を検討する計画だ。
これにより、地域別の特性と強みを反映したカスタムメイドの製造AI支援が実現できるようにする予定だ。
今回の事業では計3つの遂行機関を選定する予定であり、遂行機関は自治体、地域内製造革新関連専門機関、大学及び研究機関、中小・中堅企業及び大企業などで構成されたコンソーシアム形態で参加可能である。
選定された遂行機関は、製造AIセンターの構築と運営、地域製造企業の特性に合ったAIソリューションの確保と普及、卓越性と事例の発掘と拡散などの役割を果たすことになる。
事業支援規模は製造ＡＩセンター１ヶ所あたり最大１２０億ウォン（約３１ヶ月）であり、このうち国費は最大５０％まで支援される。残りは地方費および民間負担金マッチングを通じて調達しなければならない。

Ministère des PME et des Startups, Recrutement d'organismes régionaux de mise en œuvre du Centre d'IA spécialisé dans la fabrication
Le ministère des PME et des startups (ministre Oh Young-joo, ci-après dénommé le ministère des PME et des startups) a annoncé qu'il recrutait des organisations de mise en œuvre pour le « Projet d'activation des données de fabrication spécialisées régionales 2025 » afin de promouvoir l'innovation numérique dans les entreprises manufacturières régionales.
Ce projet vise à aider les petites et moyennes entreprises manufacturières à introduire et à utiliser efficacement l'IA et les données de fabrication en intégrant l'infrastructure physique et le personnel spécialisé lié à l'IA de fabrication centré sur les centres régionaux d'IA de fabrication. Grâce à cela, nous prévoyons d’accélérer la transformation numérique des entreprises manufacturières locales et de créer un écosystème d’innovation manufacturière basé sur l’IA, renforçant ainsi la compétitivité de l’ensemble de l’industrie manufacturière, y compris non seulement les petites et moyennes entreprises manufacturières, mais également les fournisseurs de solutions.
Le ministère des PME et des startups a expliqué que la principale raison de la promotion de ce projet est que les petites et moyennes entreprises ont des difficultés à introduire l'IA, malgré le fait que la technologie de l'IA émerge comme un élément clé des industries du futur.
Actuellement, de nombreuses PME ne peuvent pas utiliser l'IA en raison du manque d'experts et de contraintes financières. Il est notamment nécessaire de déployer des experts et des fournisseurs de solutions en IA au niveau local afin de promouvoir l'utilisation de l'IA et la transformation numérique des entreprises manufacturières locales. En conséquence, ce projet a été conçu pour établir des centres régionaux d’IA de fabrication et établir un système de soutien capable de promouvoir l’utilisation de l’IA et des données de fabrication.
Lors de la sélection des agences de mise en œuvre, le ministère des PME et des startups prévoit de donner la priorité à ▲ si la planification différenciée des programmes est liée aux industries régionales clés, ▲ la possibilité d'utiliser l'infrastructure physique régionale existante liée à l'IA et à la fabrication, et ▲ si un système de coopération est établi avec les gouvernements locaux, les universités, les instituts de recherche et les fournisseurs de solutions.
Cela permettra un support d’IA de fabrication personnalisé qui reflète les caractéristiques et les atouts régionaux.
Au total, trois organismes de mise en œuvre seront sélectionnés pour ce projet, et les organismes de mise en œuvre peuvent participer sous la forme d'un consortium composé de gouvernements locaux, d'agences régionales spécialisées dans l'innovation manufacturière, d'universités et d'instituts de recherche, de petites et moyennes entreprises et de grandes sociétés.
L'agence de mise en œuvre sélectionnée sera chargée d'établir et d'exploiter un centre d'IA de fabrication, de sécuriser et de distribuer des solutions d'IA adaptées aux caractéristiques des entreprises de fabrication régionales, et de découvrir et de diffuser des exemples d'excellence.
L'ampleur du soutien aux entreprises peut atteindre 12 milliards de wons (environ 31 mois) par centre d'IA de fabrication, dont jusqu'à 50 % sont soutenus par des fonds gouvernementaux.
