국내 생성형 인공지능(AI) 전문 기업 딥브레인AI(대표 장세영)는 유럽연합(EU)의 개인정보보호법 ‘GDPR(General Data Protection Regulation)’ 준수 여부를 독립 감사인으로부터 검증받았다고 3일 밝혔다.
GDPR은 EU 거주자의 개인정보를 다루는 모든 기업이나 단체가 프라이버시 보호와 관련된 광범위한 규정들을 준수하도록 강제하는 규정으로, 전 세계에서 가장 엄격한 개인정보보호법으로 평가된다.
딥브레인AI는 유럽연합 개인정보보호법 제5조 ‘개인정보 처리 원칙’ 등 핵심 조항을 포함한 모든 항목에 관한 외부 감사 절차를 거쳐 준수(Complied) 의견을 획득했다. 기존 보유한 ▲국제표준화기구(ISO)와 국제전기기술위원회(IEC) 공동 제정 인증 ‘ISO/IEC 27001’ ▲미국공인회계사협회(AICPA) 개발 인증 ‘SOC 2(Service Organization Control 2) Type 2’에 더해 GDPR 인증까지 획득하며 글로벌 수준의 데이터 보호 체계를 갖춘 기업으로 자리매김하게 됐다.

DeepBrainAI, EU Data Protection Law Compliance Verification
