(재)부산창조경제혁신센터(대표이사 김용우, 이하 부산창경)는 유망 초기 스타트업을 선제적으로 발굴하고 직접 투자하기 위한 ‘B.Startup PIE 배치 프로그램’ 사전 모집을 시작했다고 2일 밝혔다.
이번 사전 모집은 연간 정규 프로그램 출범에 앞서, 굴지의 스타트업을 조기에 선별하여 선제적 투자를 이루기 위한 모집으로, 유망 스타트업을 대상으로 1억~2억 원 규모의 센터 직접투자, 후속 투자사 연계 IR 등이 지원된다.
부산창경은 올해 중소벤처기업부 한국모태펀드(지역 창업초기 분야) 및 부산시의 ‘부산 미래성장벤처펀드’ 운용사로 최종 선정되며, 약 90억 원 규모의 투자 재원 확보에 성공했다. 이는 지방 창업지원기관 중 드문 수준의 실 투자기반 조성 성과로, 지역 스타트업의 성장 마중물 역할을 예고한다.
‘PIE 프로그램’은 B.Startup Potential Investment for Early-Stage startup의 약자로, 2021년부터 운영 중인 부산창경의 주력 사업이다. 단순 보육을 넘어 투자 중심의 성장 촉진을 위해 스타트업 시장성과 기술력을 진단하고 밀착 육성을 통해 IR-1:1 투자사밋업-데모데이-투자유치로 이어지는 구조화된 지원을 제공한다. 2024년에는 배치프로그램화를 통해, 직접투자 할 기업을 발굴하는 것에 초점을 두고 있다.
부산창경은 최근 AI 물류 기업 A사, 디지털 헬스케어 기업 B사 등 직접투자를 성사시킨 바 있으며, 후속 투자사와의 매칭도 성공적으로 추진하고 있다. 이번 사전 모집에서도 즉시 투자 검토 가능 기업에 대한 빠른 투자 집행이 이루어질 예정이다.
특히 이번 사전모집에서는 단순 매칭 수준을 넘어, 실질 투자 가능성 극대화를 위해 총 30개사 이상의 협업 투자사들이 프로그램에 참여하며, 선정 기업은 ▲센터 직접 투자 ▲프리팁스 추천권 부여 ▲기업 맞춤형 IR 세션 ▲협업 투자사와의 밋업 ▲파트너 투자사 연계 투자검토 등의 지원을 받게 된다.
모집 대상은 서울, 인천, 경기를 제외한 비수도권 소재, 업력 3년 이내의 초기 창업기업이며 신청은 부산창경 투자 홈페이지(bcceiinv.com)에서 상시 가능하다.

Busan Changgyeong, Pre-Recruitment for Startup Investment Placement Program
The Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) announced on the 2nd that it has begun pre-recruitment for the 'B.Startup PIE Placement Program' to proactively discover and directly invest in promising early-stage startups.
