토마토시스템은 서울대학교 포털 시스템 ‘마이스누(MySNU)’를 전면 개편했다고 23일 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 토마토시스템의 포털 솔루션 ‘엑스포탈(eXPortal)’을 기반으로 진행됐으며, 서울대학교의 고유한 요구사항을 반영해 통합성, 확장성, 운영 효율성을 강화하는 데 중점을 뒀다.
사업 범위는 포털 웹 및 모바일 앱의 전면 재구축, 통합게시판 기능 개선 및 푸시 알림 도입, 내부 시스템과의 연계 및 연동 등으로 구성됐다. 새로 구축된 포털은 사용자 유형에 따라 맞춤형 메인 화면을 제공하며, 핵심 기능 중심의 정보 구조로 사용자 편의성을 높였다.
특히, 반응형 웹 기술이 적용돼 다양한 디바이스에서 일관된 사용자 경험을 제공하며, 개인화된 퀵메뉴 설정 기능도 추가됐다. 공지사항 기능도 개선되어 사용자는 ‘해야 할 일(To-Do)’ 기능을 통해 주요 공지를 놓치지 않고 확인할 수 있으며, 통합 공지 검색 기능과 관심 공지 설정, 맞춤형 알림 등으로 정보 접근성과 소통이 강화됐다.
사용자들의 초기 반응은 긍정적이다. 일부 서울대 학생들은 새 포털에 대해 “모바일에서 개인 맞춤 기능을 활용할 수 있어 편리하다”, “자주 사용하는 항목에 빠르게 접근할 수 있어 효율적”이라는 평가를 내놓았다.
‘엑스포탈’은 앞서 한국거래소, 감사원, 외교부 등 여러 공공기관과 대학에 도입된 바 있으며, 콘텐츠 통합관리, 싱글사인온, 권한관리 등의 기능을 제공하는 맞춤형 포털 솔루션이다.
토마토시스템 전략사업본부 박성준 전무는 “서울대학교의 요구와 다양한 사용자 환경을 반영해 시스템을 구축했다”며 “맞춤형 UX/UI, 반응형 웹, 개인화 서비스 등 최신 기술을 통해 직관적이고 유연한 사용자 환경을 구현했다”고 밝혔다.
또한 그는 “엑스포탈은 조직 내 정보 흐름을 통합하는 디지털 허브로, 이번 서울대학교 도입을 통해 다시 한 번 기술력과 경쟁력을 입증했다”고 덧붙였다.

Tomato System, Seoul National University Portal System 'MySNU' Completely Reorganized
Tomato System announced on the 23rd that it has completely revamped Seoul National University's portal system, 'MySNU'.
This project was carried out based on Tomato System's portal solution 'eXPortal', and focused on strengthening integration, expandability, and operational efficiency by reflecting Seoul National University's unique requirements.

The notice function has also been improved so that users can check major notices without missing them through the 'To-Do' function, and information accessibility and communication have been strengthened with the integrated notice search function, interest notice settings, and customized notifications.
The initial response from users has been positive. Some Seoul National University students have commented on the new portal, saying, “It’s convenient because you can use personalized features on your mobile phone,” and “It’s efficient because you can quickly access frequently used items.”
'Exportal' has been previously introduced to several public institutions and universities, including the Korea Exchange, the Board of Audit and Inspection, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and is a customized portal solution that provides functions such as content integration management, single sign-on, and authority management.
Park Sung-jun, executive director of the Tomato System Strategy Division, said, “We built the system to reflect Seoul National University’s needs and diverse user environments,” and “We implemented an intuitive and flexible user environment through the latest technologies such as customized UX/UI, responsive web, and personalized services.”
