의료 인공지능(AI) 기업 에이아이트릭스(AITRICS, 대표 김광준)는 홍콩 의료기기 관리국(MDD, Medical Device Division)으로부터 환자 상태 악화 예측 인공지능 솔루션 ‘AITRICS-VC(바이탈케어)’의 의료기기 허가를 획득했다고 21일 밝혔다.
바이탈케어는 병원 내에서 축적되는 EMR(전자의무기록) 데이터를 실시간으로 분석해 환자의 상태 악화를 조기에 예측하는 의료 AI 솔루션이다. 일반 병동에서는 ▲6시간 이내의 급성 중증 이벤트(사망, 심정지, 중환자실 전실) 발생 위험 ▲4시간 이내의 패혈증 발생 위험 ▲24시간 이내의 심정지 발생 위험을 예측하며, 중환자실에서는 ▲6시간 이내의 사망 위험을 예측한다.
홍콩 보건국(Health Bureau)에 따르면 2022년~2023년 홍콩의 총 의료비는 약 2,840억 홍콩달러로, GDP의 10%를 차지하고 있다. 최근 홍콩은 병상 부족 및 고령화 심화에 따라 스마트 병원 구축과 디지털 헬스케어 전환에 대한 수요가 확대되고 있어 의료 기업들의 아시아 진출을 위한 핵심 거점으로 주목받고 있다.
이와 같은 시장 상황 속에서 바이탈케어는 의료진의 신속한 임상 의사결정을 지원하고 환자 안전성을 높여 병원 운영의 효율성 제고에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 아울러 에이아이트릭스는 이번 허가를 발판 삼아 홍콩 시장에서 의료 혁신을 선도하고, 아시아 전역으로의 사업 확장을 가속할 계획이다.

AITRIX's 'VitalCare' Obtains Hong Kong Medical Device License
AITRICS (CEO Gwangjun Kim), a medical artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 21st that it has obtained medical device approval for its AI solution for predicting patient condition deterioration, 'AITRICS-VC (Vital Care),' from the Hong Kong Medical Devices Division (MDD).
VitalCare is a medical AI solution that analyzes EMR (electronic medical record) data accumulated in hospitals in real time to predict the early deterioration of a patient's condition. 根据香港卫生局预测，2022-2023年香港医疗总开支预计约为2840亿港元，占GDP的10%。近年来，随着病床短缺和人口老龄化，对智能医院和数字医疗转型的需求不断增加，香港作为医疗公司进军亚洲的重要基地而备受关注。

AITRICS (PDG Gwangjun Kim), une société d'intelligence artificielle médicale (IA), a annoncé le 21 avoir obtenu l'approbation d'un dispositif médical pour sa solution d'IA permettant de prédire la détérioration de l'état des patients, « AITRICS-VC (Vital Care) », auprès de la division des dispositifs médicaux de Hong Kong (MDD).
Vital Care est une solution d'IA médicale qui analyse les données du DME (dossier médical électronique) accumulées au sein de l'hôpital en temps réel pour prédire la détérioration de l'état d'un patient à un stade précoce. Dans les services généraux, il prédit ▲le risque d'événements aigus graves (décès, arrêt cardiaque, transfert en unité de soins intensifs) dans les 6 heures, ▲le risque de septicémie dans les 4 heures et ▲le risque d'arrêt cardiaque dans les 24 heures. En unité de soins intensifs, il prédit ▲le risque de décès dans les 6 heures.
Selon le Bureau de la santé de Hong Kong, les dépenses totales de santé de Hong Kong en 2022-2023 devraient s'élever à environ 284 milliards de dollars de Hong Kong, soit 10 % du PIB. Récemment, Hong Kong a attiré l’attention en tant que base clé pour les entreprises médicales souhaitant progresser en Asie, car la demande d’hôpitaux intelligents et de transformation numérique des soins de santé augmente en raison de la pénurie de lits d’hôpitaux et du vieillissement de la population.
