AI 기반 공급망관리 소프트웨어 기업 엠로가 10일 삼성SDS 미국법인과 솔루션 공급계약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 이번 계약 건은 글로벌 대표 PC∙서버 제조업체 A사에 SRM SaaS 솔루션 ‘케이던시아(Caidentia)’를 기반으로 개발구매(design-to-source) 모듈을 구축하는 프로젝트다.
엠로는 삼성SDS 미국법인을 통해 A사의 인프라 솔루션 사업부에 신제품 개발 단계부터 체계적인 원가 관리 및 협력사와의 긴밀한 협업을 지원하는 다양한 AI 기반 개발구매 기능을 제공할 예정이다.
이번 계약 체결을 통해 엠로는 글로벌 대표 IT 기업으로부터 직접 구매에 특화된 AI 기술력과 전문성을 인정받으며 유의미한 레퍼런스를 확보하게 됐다. 이를 통해 북미 시장 내 하이테크 기업들을 대상으로 한 영업 활동도 한층 탄력을 받을 것으로 기대된다.
엠로 관계자는 “엠로는 지난해 말부터 미국 현지에서 꾸준히 신규 고객을 확보하며 글로벌 시장에서 가시적인 성과를 내고 있다”며 “트럼프 2기 행정부 출범 이후 글로벌 공급망 재편이 가속화되면서 SRM 솔루션에 대한 수요가 증가하고 있고, 5월 미국과 스페인에서 열린 ‘가트너 공급망 심포지엄/엑스포’에서도 잠재 고객들의 높은 관심을 확인함에 따라 올해 해외 시장에서 다양한 산업군의 대표 기업들과의 추가 계약도 기대하고 있다”고 말했다.

Emro , an AI-based supply chain management software company, announced on the 10th that it signed a solution supply contract with Samsung SDS USA. This contract is a project to build a design-to-source module based on the SRM SaaS solution 'Caidentia' for Company A, a leading global PC/server manufacturer.
Emro will provide Company A's infrastructure solutions division with various AI-based development and purchasing functions that support systematic cost management and close collaboration with partners from the new product development stage through Samsung SDS's US subsidiary.

An Emro official said, “Emro has been steadily securing new customers in the U.S. since the end of last year and has been achieving visible results in the global market,” adding, “Demand for SRM solutions is increasing as the reorganization of the global supply chain has accelerated since the inauguration of the second Trump administration. In addition, we confirmed high interest from potential customers at the ‘Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Expo’ held in the U.S. and Spain in May, so we expect additional contracts with representative companies in various industries in overseas markets this year.”
