경기창조경제혁신센터(이하 ‘경기혁신센터’)는 국제지식재산보호협회(AIPPI, 한국협회장 안성탁)와 한국 스타트업의 지식재산(IP) 역량 강화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 현지 시각 16일 체결했다고 밝혔다. 이번 협약은 지식재산 보호 및 활용 전문성과 스타트업 지원 역량을 결합해, 기술 기반 스타트업의 글로벌 시장 진출을 체계적으로 지원하는 것을 목표로 한다.
AIPPI는 전 세계 110여 개국, 8,000여 명의 IP 전문가로 구성된 국제 협력 네트워크를 보유한 국제지식재산보호 기구로, 각국 법률 전문가들과의 협력을 통해 글로벌 지식재산 이슈에 대한 자문과 정책 개선을 이끌어오고 있다. 이번 협약을 통해 한국 스타트업은 해외 진출 과정에서 직면할 수 있는 지식재산 관련 리스크를 사전에 관리하고, 글로벌 시장에서 기술과 브랜드 보호 역량을 강화할 수 있는 기반을 마련하게 됐다.
양 기관은 ▲해외 IP 전문가 자문 제공 ▲IP 관련 포럼 및 교육 프로그램 공동 운영 ▲글로벌 진출을 위한 법·제도적 지원 등의 협력 분야를 중심으로 실질적인 프로그램을 공동 기획·추진할 예정이다.
업무협약 체결에 앞서 양측은 6월 16일, 판교 제2테크노밸리 창업존에서 공동으로 『2025 AIPPI Expert Connect: 중국·일본 IP 전문가의 실전 진출 전략 클리닉』을 개최했다. 해당 행사에는 AIPPI 소속 한국·중국·일본 등 7개국 40여 명의 IP 전문가와 국내 스타트업 관계자들이 참여해 권역별 진출 전략과 지식재산 보호 방안을 공유했다. 기업별 맞춤형 자문이 이루어진 인뎁스 네트워킹 세션을 통해 한·중·일 간 협력 기반도 강화됐다.
경기혁신센터는 이번 협약을 통해 전국 창조경제혁신센터 중 글로벌 협력 거점으로서의 역할을 확대하고, 국내 스타트업의 지속가능한 해외 진출을 위한 전문 지원 체계를 강화해 나간다는 방침이다.
경기혁신센터 관계자는 “이번 협약은 스타트업이 해외에서 지식재산을 효과적으로 보호하고 사업을 확장할 수 있도록 돕는 실질적인 계기가 될 것”이라며 “앞으로도 글로벌 전문 기관과의 협력을 통해 스타트업의 성장 여건을 지속적으로 고도화하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Gyeonggi Innovation Center Signs Business Agreement with International Intellectual Property Protection Association
The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (hereafter referred to as the “Gyeonggi Innovation Center”) announced on the 16th (local time) that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Association for the Protection of International Intellectual Property (AIPPI, Korean Association President Ahn Seong-tak) to strengthen the intellectual property (IP) capabilities of Korean startups. This agreement aims to systematically support the entry of technology-based startups into the global market by combining expertise in intellectual property protection and utilization with startup support capabilities.
AIPPI is an international intellectual property protection organization with an international cooperation network of 8,000 IP experts in 110 countries around the world. It has been leading advice and policy improvement on global intellectual property issues through cooperation with legal experts from each country. Through this agreement, Korean startups will be able to manage intellectual property-related risks that they may face in the process of advancing overseas in advance and establish a foundation for strengthening their technology and brand protection capabilities in the global market.
The two organizations plan to jointly plan and promote practical programs centered on areas of cooperation such as ▲provision of advice from overseas IP experts, ▲joint operation of IP-related forums and education programs, and ▲legal and institutional support for global expansion.
Prior to signing the business agreement, the two sides jointly held the “2025 AIPPI Expert Connect: China-Japan IP Experts’ Practical Entry Strategy Clinic” at the Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley Startup Zone on June 16. The event was attended by approximately 40 IP experts from 7 countries including Korea, China, and Japan, affiliated with AIPPI, and domestic startup officials, who shared regional entry strategies and intellectual property protection measures. The foundation for cooperation between Korea, China, and Japan was also strengthened through the InDepth networking session, where customized consulting was provided for each company.
Through this agreement, the Gyeonggi Innovation Center plans to expand its role as a global cooperation hub among the national Creative Economy Innovation Centers and strengthen its specialized support system for the sustainable overseas expansion of domestic startups.
An official from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “This agreement will be a practical opportunity to help startups effectively protect their intellectual property and expand their businesses overseas,” adding, “We will continue to improve the growth conditions for startups through cooperation with global professional organizations.”

在签署业务协议之前，双方于6月16日在板桥第二科技谷创业区共同举办了“2025 AIPPI Expert Connect：中日知识产权专家实战切入战略研讨会”。来自韩国、中国、日本等7个国家的AIPPI会员约40名知识产权专家以及国内创业公司相关人士出席了此次活动，分享了区域切入战略和知识产权保护措施。此外，双方还通过深度交流会为各企业提供定制化咨询，进一步巩固了中韩三国之间的合作基础。
通过此次协议，京畿创新中心计划扩大其作为国家创造经济创新中心全球合作中心的作用，并加强其对国内初创企业可持续海外扩张的专业支持系统。
京畿创新中心相关人士表示，“此次协议将成为帮助初创企业有效保护知识产权、拓展海外业务的切实机会”，并表示，“今后将通过与全球专业机构的合作，持续改善初创企业的成长环境”。

Le Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi signe un accord commercial avec l'Association internationale de protection de la propriété intellectuelle
Le Centre Gyeonggi pour l'économie créative et l'innovation (ci-après dénommé « Centre d'innovation Gyeonggi ») a annoncé le 16 avril (heure locale) la signature d'un protocole d'accord avec l'Association pour la protection de la propriété intellectuelle internationale (AIPPI, dont le président est Ahn Seong-tak) afin de renforcer les capacités des startups coréennes en matière de propriété intellectuelle (PI). Cet accord vise à soutenir systématiquement l'entrée des startups technologiques sur le marché mondial en combinant expertise en matière de protection et d'exploitation de la propriété intellectuelle et capacités d'accompagnement des startups.
L'AIPPI est une organisation internationale de protection de la propriété intellectuelle, forte d'un réseau de coopération internationale de 8 000 experts en propriété intellectuelle répartis dans 110 pays. Elle promeut le conseil et l'amélioration des politiques sur les questions mondiales de propriété intellectuelle grâce à la coopération avec des experts juridiques de chaque pays. Grâce à cet accord, les startups coréennes pourront anticiper les risques liés à la propriété intellectuelle auxquels elles pourraient être confrontées lors de leur développement à l'international et établir les bases du renforcement de leurs capacités en matière de protection des technologies et des marques sur le marché mondial.
Les deux organisations prévoient de planifier et de promouvoir conjointement des programmes pratiques axés sur des domaines de coopération tels que ▲la fourniture de conseils par des experts étrangers en propriété intellectuelle, ▲l'exploitation conjointe de forums et de programmes éducatifs liés à la propriété intellectuelle, et ▲le soutien juridique et institutionnel à l'expansion mondiale.
Avant la signature de l'accord commercial, les deux parties ont organisé conjointement le « 2025 AIPPI Expert Connect : China-Japan IP Experts’ Practical Entry Strategy Clinic » à la 2e Techno Valley Startup Zone de Pangyo, le 16 juin. Cet événement a réuni une quarantaine d'experts en propriété intellectuelle de sept pays, dont la Corée, la Chine et le Japon, affiliés à l'AIPPI, ainsi que des responsables de startups nationales, qui ont partagé leurs stratégies d'entrée régionales et leurs mesures de protection de la propriété intellectuelle. Les bases de la coopération entre la Corée, la Chine et le Japon ont également été renforcées grâce à la session de réseautage InDepth, au cours de laquelle des conseils personnalisés ont été prodigués à chaque entreprise.
Grâce à cet accord, le Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi prévoit d'étendre son rôle de centre de coopération mondial parmi les centres nationaux d'innovation de l'économie créative et de renforcer son système de soutien spécialisé pour l'expansion durable à l'étranger des startups nationales.
Un responsable du Centre d'innovation de Gyeonggi a déclaré : « Cet accord sera une opportunité concrète d'aider les startups à protéger efficacement leur propriété intellectuelle et à développer leurs activités à l'étranger », ajoutant : « Nous continuerons d'améliorer les conditions de croissance des startups grâce à la coopération avec les organisations professionnelles mondiales. »
