퍼스트바이오테라퓨틱스(대표 김재은, 이하 퍼스트바이오)는 지난 6월 19일 싱가포르에서 열린 기술보증기금 싱가포르지점 개소식에 참석해, 주요 파이프라인 및 글로벌 사업 전략을 현지 투자자들에게 소개했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 기술보증기금이 설립한 첫 해외 지점 개소를 기념해, 한국벤처투자와 공동 주최한 행사로, 국내 유망 벤처기업의 해외 진출 및 글로벌 벤처캐피탈(VC) 투자 유치 지원을 목적으로 마련됐다.
퍼스트바이오는 초청된 6개 기업 중 유일한 신약개발 기업으로, 약 100여 명의 현지 투자자 및 바이오 업계 관계자들을 대상으로 면역항암제 후보물질 ‘FB849’, 퇴행성 뇌질환 치료제 등 주요 파이프라인과 기술적 차별성, 그리고 리가켐바이오사이언스, 마이클 J. 폭스 재단(MJFF), MSD 등과의 전략적 협력 사례를 소개했다.
또한 IR 발표 이후에는 싱가포르 소재 투자사 및 글로벌 VC들과의 1:1 미팅을 진행하며 실질적인 투자 및 공동 개발 가능성을 논의했다.
퍼스트바이오는 지난 2024년 중소벤처기업부 주관의 ‘글로벌 유니콘 프로젝트’에서 예비 유니콘 기업으로 선정된 바 있으며, 기술력과 성장 잠재력을 바탕으로 글로벌 시장 확장을 본격 추진 중이다.
김재은 퍼스트바이오 대표는 “이번 싱가포르 행사는 퍼스트바이오의 기술 경쟁력과 사업 가능성을 해외 투자자들에게 소개할 수 있는 의미 있는 기회였다”며, “이를 계기로 글로벌 파트너십과 사업화를 더욱 가속화할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

First Biotherapeutics (CEO Jae-eun Kim, hereinafter referred to as First Bio) announced that it attended the opening ceremony of the Technology Credit Guarantee Fund Singapore branch held in Singapore on June 19 and introduced its main pipeline and global business strategy to local investors.
This event was co-hosted with Korea Venture Investment to commemorate the opening of the first overseas branch established by the Technology Guarantee Fund, and was prepared with the aim of supporting promising domestic venture companies to expand overseas and attract global venture capital (VC) investment.
FirstBio is the only new drug development company among the six invited companies, and introduced its main pipeline, including the immunotherapy candidate 'FB849' and degenerative brain disease treatment, as well as its technological differentiation, and cases of strategic collaboration with LigaChem Biosciences, the Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF), and MSD, to about 100 local investors and bio industry officials.
In addition, after the IR announcement, we held 1:1 meetings with Singapore-based investment firms and global VCs to discuss the possibility of actual investment and joint development.
First Bio was selected as a potential unicorn company in the 'Global Unicorn Project' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2024, and is actively pursuing expansion into the global market based on its technological prowess and growth potential.

また、IR発表後はシンガポールの投資家やグローバルVCとの1:1ミーティングを行い、実質的な投資と共同開発の可能性について議論した。
ファーストバイオは2024年、中小ベンチャー企業部主管の「グローバルユニコーンプロジェクト」で予備ユニコーン企業に選定されており、技術力と成長潜在力をもとにグローバル市場拡大を本格推進中だ。

First Biotherapeutics (PDG Jae-eun Kim, ci-après dénommé First Bio) a annoncé avoir assisté à la cérémonie d'ouverture de la succursale singapourienne du Technology Credit Guarantee Fund qui s'est tenue à Singapour le 19 juin et a présenté son principal pipeline et sa stratégie commerciale mondiale aux investisseurs locaux.
Cet événement a été organisé conjointement avec Korea Venture Investment pour commémorer l'ouverture de la première succursale à l'étranger établie par le Technology Guarantee Fund, et a été préparé dans le but d'aider les entreprises nationales prometteuses à se développer à l'étranger et à attirer des investissements mondiaux en capital-risque (VC).
