뷰웍스는 6월 24일부터 27일까지 독일 뮌헨에서 열린 공장 자동화 및 로봇 전시회 ‘오토매티카 2025’에 참가해 고객 맞춤형 머신비전 솔루션을 선보였다고 25일 밝혔다.
오토매티카는 독일에서 격년제로 개최되는 스마트 자동화 기술 및 로봇공학 박람회로, 유럽 지역 바이어들이 최신 자동화 및 AI 융합 신기술을 확인하기 위해 참여한다. 뷰웍스는 이번 전시회에서 영역 스캔(Area scan) 카메라, 라인 스캔(Line scan) 카메라, TDI 라인 스캔 카메라, 머신비전 인터페이스, 렌즈, 액세서리 등 총 24종의 제품을 전시했다.
특히 공장 자동화와 로보틱스 분야에 적용 가능한 영역 스캔 카메라 ‘VZ 시리즈’가 현지 바이어들의 관심을 받았다. VZ 시리즈는 2.9cm×2.9cm 크기의 초소형 카메라로, 자동차, 로보틱스, 식음료, 제약 등 다양한 산업용 애플리케이션에 적합하다. 기가비트 이더넷(GigE)과 USB 3.0 인터페이스를 지원하며 별도의 프레임 그래버(frame grabber)가 필요 없어 효율적이고 경제적인 점이 특징이다.
또한 뷰웍스는 1회 스캔만으로 브라이트 필드와 다크 필드 이미지를 동시에 획득할 수 있는 ‘듀얼 이미징 TDI 카메라’를 새롭게 공개했다.
저조도 환경에 최적화된 고해상도 산업용 카메라 ‘VT Sense 시리즈’도 소개했다. 이 카메라는 자외선(UV), 근적외선(NIR), 단파 적외선(SWIR) 파장 영역에서 영상을 구현해 기존 가시광선으로는 식별이 어려운 결함을 찾아내는 데 활용 가능하며, 디스플레이, 반도체, 이차전지 표면, 태양광 패널 검사 등 특수 제조 분야에 적용할 수 있다.
뷰웍스는 설계, 개발, 제조를 아우르는 수직 통합형 기술 역량을 기반으로 고객 맞춤형 커스터마이징을 강화해 글로벌 머신비전 시장 공략에 나선다는 계획이다. 이를 통해 다양한 산업별 공정 특성에 최적화된 이미징 솔루션을 제공할 예정이다.
뷰웍스 관계자는 “AI와 로보틱스 기술과 결합한 지능형 시각 시스템의 중요성이 커지고 있다”며 “공장 자동화와 자동 광학검사(AOI), 로봇 분야에 최적화된 솔루션을 통해 글로벌 제조 혁신에 적극 대응할 것”이라고 말했다.

Vieworks participates in 'Automatica 2025'
Vieworks announced on the 25th that it participated in the factory automation and robotics exhibition 'Automatica 2025' held in Munich, Germany from June 24th to 27th and showcased customized machine vision solutions.
Automatica is a smart automation technology and robotics exhibition held every two years in Germany, where European buyers participate to check out the latest automation and AI convergence technologies. Vieworks exhibited a total of 24 products at this exhibition, including area scan cameras, line scan cameras, TDI line scan cameras, machine vision interfaces, lenses, and accessories.
In particular, the area scan camera 'VZ series' applicable to factory automation and robotics fields attracted the attention of local buyers. The VZ series is an ultra-small camera measuring 2.9cm x 2.9cm and is suitable for various industrial applications such as automotive, robotics, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals. It supports Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) and USB 3.0 interfaces and is characterized by being efficient and economical as it does not require a separate frame grabber.
Additionally, Vieworks has unveiled a new 'Dual Imaging TDI Camera' that can simultaneously acquire bright field and dark field images with just one scan.
The company also introduced the 'VT Sense Series', a high-resolution industrial camera optimized for low-light environments. This camera implements images in the ultraviolet (UV), near-infrared (NIR), and short-wave infrared (SWIR) wavelength ranges, and can be used to find defects that are difficult to identify with existing visible light, and can be applied to special manufacturing fields such as display, semiconductor, secondary battery surface, and solar panel inspection.
Vieworks plans to advance into the global machine vision market by strengthening customer-tailored customization based on its vertically integrated technology capabilities encompassing design, development, and manufacturing. Through this, it plans to provide imaging solutions optimized for the process characteristics of various industries.
“The importance of intelligent vision systems combined with AI and robotics technologies is growing,” said a Vieworks official. “We will actively respond to global manufacturing innovation through solutions optimized for factory automation, automated optical inspection (AOI), and robotics.”
