AI 반도체 전문기업 딥엑스(대표 김녹원)는 6월 24일부터 26일까지 개최된 ‘2025 세계경제포럼(WEF, World Economic Forum)’ 하계 포럼에 공식 참여했다고 25일 밝혔다. 이번 참여는 지난해에 이어 두 번째로, 딥엑스는 글로벌 AI 반도체 분야 기업을 대표해 참석했다.
이번 포럼에서 딥엑스는 고효율, 저전력 AI 반도체 기술의 필요성을 강조하고, AI 대중화를 위한 지속가능한 기술 도입 전략을 소개했다. 김녹원 대표는 공식 연사로 참여해 ▲에너지 효율 중심의 AI 기술 개발 방향 ▲에너지 크레딧 제도 제안 ▲AI 반도체의 글로벌 표준화 ▲한국의 딥테크 생태계 현황 등에 대해 발표했다.

딥엑스는 자사의 초저전력 온디바이스(On-device) AI 반도체 기술이 기존 데이터센터 중심 AI 연산 구조의 한계를 극복할 수 있는 대안임을 지속적으로 제시해왔다. 특히 올해 초에는 세계경제포럼 공식 플랫폼에 기고문을 게재해, AI 처리에 따른 전력 소모 및 탄소 배출 문제를 지적하며 정책적 대응과 에너지 크레딧 제도의 국제적 도입을 제안한 바 있다.
딥엑스는 이번 포럼을 통해 각국 정부 및 글로벌 기술 기업, 투자사 등과 전략적 협력 논의를 진행했으며, B2G 및 B2B 차원의 협력 확대를 통해 AI 반도체의 글로벌 확산을 가속화할 계획이다.

In particular, early this year, it contributed to the official platform of the World Economic Forum, pointing out the problems of power consumption and carbon emissions due to AI processing, and proposed policy responses and the international introduction of an energy credit system.
Through this forum, DeepX has discussed strategic cooperation with governments, global technology companies, and investment firms from various countries, and plans to accelerate the global spread of AI semiconductors by expanding cooperation at the B2G and B2B levels.

C'était la deuxième fois qu'elle participait à ce forum après l'année dernière, et DeepX y représentait les entreprises mondiales de semi-conducteurs IA.
