스맥은 KT와 함께 성균관대학교에 스마트캠퍼스용 5G 특화망 서비스를 구축했다고 4일 밝혔다.
이번 구축은 지난해 11월 성균관대 인문사회과학캠퍼스에서 발표된 ‘스마트캠퍼스 5G 특화망 구축계획’의 일환으로, 약 8개월에 걸친 설계 및 설치 과정을 거쳐 완료됐다. 이를 통해 성균관대는 서울(인문사회과학캠퍼스)과 수원(자연과학캠퍼스)을 아우르는 전용 5G 특화망 인프라를 갖추게 됐다.
특히 이번 구축 사례는 국내 대학 최초로 캠퍼스 전역을 아우르는 5G 특화망 구축 사례로, 향후 교육·연구·행정 전반에 걸친 스마트 서비스 개발 및 첨단 인프라 확장의 기반이 될 것으로 기대된다.
같은 날 성균관대 600주년기념관에서 열린 ‘5G 특화망 개통식’에는 성균관대 총장과 스맥 최영섭 대표이사를 비롯해 KT, 에스넷시스템, 에치에프알(HFR) 관계자들이 참석해 구축 성과를 공유하고 관련 기술 전시를 체험했다.
스맥은 이번 구축 과정에서 설계·컨설팅은 물론, 5G 특화망 주파수 할당을 위한 정부 협의 및 행정 절차까지 전방위적으로 참여해 안정적인 서비스 개통을 이끌었다.
스맥은 지난해부터 5G 특화망 사업을 신규 사업으로 추진해 왔으며, 올해 1월 ‘이음 5G 기간통신사업자’ 면허를 취득한 이후 첫 실질 성과로 성균관대 구축을 완료했다. 이를 통해 향후 대학, 병원, 산업단지 등으로의 사업 확장도 본격화할 예정이다.
최영섭 스맥 대표이사는 “성균관대에 국내 최초로 스마트캠퍼스용 5G 특화망을 성공적으로 구축하게 되어 매우 뜻깊게 생각한다”며, “스맥만의 차별화된 5G 특화망 융합 서비스를 기반으로 사업 영역을 지속 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

SMACK, Establishing 5G Specialized Network at Sungkyunkwan University
Smac announced on the 4th that it has built a 5G specialized network service for a smart campus at Sungkyunkwan University together with KT.
This construction is part of the 'Smart Campus 5G Specialized Network Construction Plan' announced at the Sungkyunkwan University Humanities and Social Sciences Campus in November of last year, and was completed after a design and installation process that took approximately eight months. Through this, Sungkyunkwan University now has a dedicated 5G specialized network infrastructure covering Seoul (Humanities and Social Sciences Campus) and Suwon (Natural Sciences Campus).
In particular, this construction case is the first case of a 5G specialized network covering the entire campus of a domestic university, and is expected to become the foundation for the development of smart services and expansion of advanced infrastructure across education, research, and administration in the future.
On the same day, the '5G Specialized Network Opening Ceremony' held at the Sungkyunkwan University 600th Anniversary Memorial Hall was attended by the President of Sungkyunkwan University, SMAC CEO Choi Young-seop, and officials from KT, Snet Systems, and HFR to share the results of the construction and experience related technology exhibitions.
During this construction process, Smac participated in all aspects, from design and consulting to government consultations and administrative procedures for 5G-specific network frequency allocation, leading to the stable launch of the service.
Smac has been promoting the 5G specialized network business as a new business since last year, and has completed construction at Sungkyunkwan University as its first tangible result since acquiring the 'Eum 5G basic telecommunications business operator' license in January of this year. Through this, it plans to fully expand its business to universities, hospitals, and industrial complexes in the future.
Choi Young-seop, CEO of Smac, said, “I think it is very meaningful that we have successfully built the first 5G specialized network for a smart campus in Sungkyunkwan University in Korea,” and added, “We will continue to expand our business areas based on Smac’s differentiated 5G specialized network convergence service.”

スマック、成均館大に5G特化網を構築
スマックはKTと共に成均館大学にスマートキャンパス用5G特化網サービスを構築したと4日明らかにした。
今回の構築は昨年11月、成均館大学人文社会科学キャンパスで発表された「スマートキャンパス5G特化網構築計画」の一環で、約8ヶ月にわたる設計および設置過程を経て完了した。これにより、成均館大はソウル（人文社会科学キャンパス）と水原（自然科学キャンパス）を併せ持つ専用５Ｇ特化網インフラを備えることになった。
特に今回の構築事例は、国内大学で初めてキャンパス全域を網羅する5G特化網構築事例で、今後の教育・研究・行政全般にわたるスマートサービス開発および先端インフラ拡張の基盤になると期待される。
同日、成均館大600周年記念館で開かれた「5G特化網開通式」には、成均館大総長とスマクチェ・ヨンソプ代表取締役をはじめ、KT、エスネットシステム、エチエフアル（HFR）関係者が参加し、構築成果を共有し、関連技術展示を体験した。
スマックは今回の構築過程で設計・コンサルティングはもちろん、5G特化網周波数割り当てのための政府協議および行政手続きまで全方位的に参加し、安定的なサービス開通を導いた。
スマックは昨年から5G特化網事業を新規事業として推進してきた。これにより、今後大学、病院、産業団地などへの事業拡大も本格化する予定だ。
チェ・ヨンソプのSmac代表取締役は「成均館大学に韓国で初めてスマートキャンパス用5G特化網を成功的に構築することになり、非常に意識的に考える」とし、「スマックだけの差別化された5G特化網融合サービスを基盤に事業領域を持続拡大していく」と明らかにした。

SMACK在韩国成均馆大学建立5G专用网络
Smac 4日宣布，与韩国电信公司（KT）共同为韩国成均馆大学智能校园建设5G专用网络服务。
此次建设是成均馆大学人文社会科学校区去年11月宣布的“智能校园5G专网建设计划”的一部分，历经约8个月的设计和安装，最终竣工。至此，成均馆大学已拥有覆盖首尔（人文社会科学校区）和水原（自然科学校区）的5G专用网络基础设施。
值得一提的是，本次建设案例是国内首个覆盖大学全校的5G专用网络案例，有望成为未来开展智能服务、拓展教育、科研、行政等各个领域先进基础设施的基础。
同一天，在成均馆大学建校600周年纪念馆举行的“5G专用网络启用仪式”上，成均馆大学校长、SMAC代表崔永燮以及KT、Snet Systems、HFR的相关人士出席了仪式，分享了建设成果并体验了相关技术展览。
在此次建设过程中，Smac全程参与了从设计咨询到政府协商、5G专用网络频率分配的行政手续等各个环节，确保了服务的稳定上线。
Smac自去年以来将5G专用网络事业作为新事业推进，并于今年1月获得“Eum 5G基础电信业务运营商”牌照后，在成均馆大学完成了建设，这是其首个实际成果。未来，Smac计划借此将业务全面拓展至大学、医院、产业园区等。
Smac代表崔永燮表示：“成功在韩国成均馆大学智能校园搭建首个5G专网，意义非凡。”他还表示，“今后将以Smac差异化的5G专网融合服务为基础，继续拓展事业领域。”

SMACK, établissement d'un réseau spécialisé 5G à l'Université Sungkyunkwan
Smac a annoncé le 4 qu'elle avait construit un service de réseau spécialisé 5G pour un campus intelligent à l'Université Sungkyunkwan en collaboration avec KT.
Cette construction s'inscrit dans le cadre du « Plan de construction d'un réseau spécialisé 5G pour le campus intelligent », annoncé en novembre dernier sur le campus des sciences humaines et sociales de l'Université Sungkyunkwan. Elle a été achevée après un processus de conception et d'installation d'environ huit mois. Grâce à cela, l'Université Sungkyunkwan dispose désormais d'une infrastructure réseau 5G spécialisée dédiée couvrant Séoul (campus des sciences humaines et sociales) et Suwon (campus des sciences naturelles).
En particulier, ce cas de construction est le premier cas d'un réseau spécialisé 5G couvrant l'ensemble du campus d'une université nationale et devrait devenir la base du développement de services intelligents et de l'expansion d'infrastructures avancées dans l'éducation, la recherche et l'administration à l'avenir.
Le même jour, la « cérémonie d'ouverture du réseau spécialisé 5G » qui s'est tenue au mémorial du 600e anniversaire de l'université Sungkyunkwan a été suivie par le président de l'université Sungkyunkwan, le PDG de SMAC Choi Young-seop et des responsables de KT, Snet Systems et HFR pour partager les résultats des expositions technologiques liées à la construction et à l'expérience.
Au cours de ce processus de construction, Smac a participé à tous les aspects, de la conception et du conseil aux consultations gouvernementales et aux procédures administratives pour l'attribution de fréquences de réseau spécifiques à la 5G, conduisant au lancement stable du service.
Depuis l'année dernière, Smac promeut le développement de son activité de réseau spécialisé 5G. L'achèvement des travaux de construction à l'Université Sungkyunkwan constitue son premier résultat tangible depuis l'obtention de la licence d'opérateur de télécommunications de base 5G Eum en janvier dernier. L'entreprise prévoit ainsi d'étendre ses activités aux universités, aux hôpitaux et aux complexes industriels à l'avenir.
Choi Young-seop, PDG de Smac, a déclaré : « Je pense qu'il est très significatif que nous ayons réussi à construire le premier réseau spécialisé 5G pour un campus intelligent de l'Université Sungkyunkwan en Corée », et a ajouté : « Nous continuerons à étendre nos domaines d'activité en nous appuyant sur le service de convergence de réseau spécialisé 5G différencié de Smac. »
