㈜케어링(대표 김태성)이 광주광역시사회서비스원으로부터 사회서비스 분야 유공 기업으로 선정돼 광주광역시의회의장 표창을 수상했다고 8일 밝혔다.
이번 표창은 광주광역시사회서비스원 개원 5주년을 기념해 지역 내 사회서비스 품질 향상과 일자리 창출에 기여한 기관 및 기업에 수여됐다. 광주광역시사회서비스원은 통합 돌봄 체계를 기반으로 공공성과 전문성을 갖춘 복지 서비스를 제공하고 있다.
케어링은 전국 단위의 통합재가 요양 인프라를 기반으로 요양보호사, 사회복지사, 작업치료사 등 다양한 전문 인력을 통해 1만 개 이상의 돌봄 일자리를 창출해왔다. 또한 요양보호사 처우 개선과 권익 증진을 위한 제도적 노력도 병행하고 있다.
광주에서는 남구점과 서구점을 포함한 프리미엄 주간보호센터를 통해 뷰티·스파, 스마트 인지·재활 프로그램 등 차별화된 서비스를 제공하고 있으며, 병원 방문 시 요양 전문가가 동행하는 ‘병원동행 안심파트너’ 서비스를 운영 중이다. 이를 통해 이용자와 보호자의 편의를 높이고 있다.
이외에도 케어링은 지역 의료기관과 협력해 비대면 진료, 방문 진료 등으로 구성된 의료·요양 원스톱 체계를 마련해 어르신들의 의료 접근성을 개선하고 돌봄 공백 해소에도 기여하고 있다. 현재 케어링은 전국에 주간보호센터, 방문요양센터, 요양보호사 교육원 등 총 61개 직영점을 운영하고 있다.
케어링 김태성 대표는 “이번 수상은 현장의 돌봄 종사자들과 함께 만든 결과”라며 “앞으로도 전국 어디서나 고품질 돌봄 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 지속적인 투자와 노력을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Caring, Gwangju Metropolitan City Social Service Center, Award of Merit
Caring Co., Ltd. (CEO Taeseong Kim) announced on the 8th that it was selected as a company with merit in the social service field by the Gwangju Metropolitan City Social Service Center and received a commendation from the Gwangju Metropolitan City Council Speaker.
This award was given to organizations and companies that contributed to improving the quality of social services and creating jobs in the region in commemoration of the 5th anniversary of the opening of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Social Service Center. The Gwangju Metropolitan City Social Service Center provides welfare services with publicness and professionalism based on an integrated care system.
Caring has created more than 10,000 care jobs through various professional personnel such as care workers, social workers, and occupational therapists based on a nationwide integrated care infrastructure. It is also making institutional efforts to improve the treatment of care workers and promote their rights.
In Gwangju, we provide differentiated services such as beauty/spa, smart cognitive/rehabilitation programs through premium day care centers including Nam-gu and Seo-gu, and we are operating a 'hospital companion safety partner' service where a nursing expert accompanies you when you visit the hospital. Through this, we are increasing the convenience of users and guardians.
In addition, Caring is working with local medical institutions to establish a one-stop medical and nursing system consisting of non-face-to-face treatment and home visit treatment, thereby improving the elderly’s access to medical care and contributing to resolving the care gap. Currently, Caring is operating a total of 61 direct branches nationwide, including day care centers, home visit nursing centers, and nursing assistant training centers.

他にもケアリングは地域医療機関と協力して肥大面診療、訪問診療などで構成された医療・療養ワンストップ体系を設け、大人たちの医療接近性を改善し、面倒な空白解消にも寄与している。現在、ケアリングは全国に週間保護センター、訪問療養センター、療養保護士教育院など計61の直営店を運営している。
ケアリングのキム・テソン代表は「今回の受賞は現場の世話をする従事者と一緒に作った結果」とし「今後も全国どこでも高品質の世話サービスを提供できるよう、持続的な投資と努力を続けていく」と明らかにした。
