AI 기반 온라인 평가 플랫폼 기업 그렙(대표 임성수)은 글로벌 컴퓨터 기반 시험(CBT) 전문 기관 프로메트릭(Prometric)과 전략적 파트너십을 골자로 한 양해각서(MOU)를 체결했다고 11일 밝혔다. 프로메트릭은 미국 공인회계사 시험(AICPA), 영어능력 평가(CELPIP) 등 다양한 국제 자격시험을 운영하는 글로벌 CBT 분야 대표 기업이다.
이번 협약을 통해 양사는 그렙의 개발자 평가 콘텐츠 ‘프로그래머스’와 온라인 시험 감독 솔루션 ‘모니토’를 프로메트릭의 글로벌 유통망을 통해 전 세계에 공급할 계획이다. 또한 AI 기반 시험 감독 기술과 국제 시험 운영 네트워크를 결합한 디지털 평가 모델을 공동 개발할 예정이다.
그렙은 ‘프로그래머스’와 ‘모니토’를 통해 평가 콘텐츠 기획부터 온라인 시험 운영, 시험 감독까지 디지털 시험 전 과정을 자체 기술로 구현해왔다. ‘모니토’는 공공기관 정부 인증 시험 등 다양한 실무 현장에서 활용되며, 안정성과 보안성을 인정받고 있다.
프로메트릭은 전 세계 180여 개국 8,000여 개 시험센터를 기반으로 국제 공인 자격시험을 운영하고 있다. 시험 운영, 응시자 관리, 품질 관리 등 시험 전 과정을 전문적으로 수행하며 각국 규제 기준에 부합하는 시험 환경 설계 역량을 보유하고 있다.
양사는 이번 협약으로 급변하는 글로벌 시험 환경에 대응할 수 있는 디지털 평가 모델을 함께 구축할 계획이다. 그렙은 원격 시험 감독 기술 ‘모니토’를 적용하고, 프로메트릭은 글로벌 운영 인프라를 더해 콘텐츠 및 평가 솔루션 전반에 대한 공동 연구개발(R&D)을 추진한다. 이를 통해 신뢰도 높은 시험 환경과 기술적 편의성, 운영 유연성을 갖춘 평가 시스템 마련이 기대된다.
