제주국제자유도시개발센터(이사장 직무대행 곽진규, 이하 JDC)는 제주혁신성장센터 Route330 입주기업 주식회사 메가플랜(대표 유철원)이 지난 7월 중기부 팁스(TIPS) 선정에 이어, 프리 시리즈A 투자까지 유치했다고 밝혔다.
이번 투자는 블루포인트파트너스, 인포뱅크, 제주창조경제혁신센터가 참여했으며, 기업가치 및 투자 규모는 비공개다.
메가플랜의 투자유치는 지난 해 더벤처스, 씨엔티테크, AI엔젤클럽 등을 통한 시드 투자 이후 두 번째이며, 올해 7월 중소벤처기업부 기술창업 지원 프로그램인 팁스(TIPS) 대상 기업으로 최종 선정되어 기술력을 인정받았다.
메가플랜은 이번 투자 유치를 통해 수조 높이 개선 등의 시설 개선을 통해 고등어 생산능력(Capacity)을 2배로 확장할 계획이다.
유철원 메가플랜 대표는 “이번 투자는 메가플랜이 그리는 ‘1달러 고등어’의 꿈이 현실이 될 수 있는 중요한 전환점”이라며, “국내 식량 안보에 기여할 뿐만 아니라 전 세계 기아를 종식할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 포부를 전했다.
구병욱 JDC 산업육성본부장은 “메가플랜이 올 해 입주한 이후 중기부 팁스 선정에 이어 프리A 투자 유치까지 성공하는 등 꾸준히 성장하여 매우 기쁘다”며 “앞으로도 JDC는 KAIST, Route330 협력파트너인 다양한 액셀러레이터, 벤처캐피탈과 함께 기술·사업화·투자 등 다방면에서 기술창업기업의 성장을 지원하여 제주 산업구조 혁신에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

Megaplan attracts investment… "Bluepoint, Jeju Center, and others participate"
Jeju International Free City Development Center (Acting Chairman Kwak Jin-gyu, hereinafter JDC) announced that Megaplan Co., Ltd. (CEO Yoo Cheol-won), a company located on Route 330 of Jeju Innovation Growth Center, has attracted pre-Series A investment following its selection as a TIPS company by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in July.
This investment was participated by Bluepoint Partners, Infobank, and Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center, and the corporate value and investment amount were not disclosed.
This is Megaplan's second round of investment, following seed investments from The Ventures, CNT Tech, and AI Angel Club last year. The company was also recognized for its technological prowess in July of this year when it was selected as a TIPS (Technology Incubation Program), a technology startup support program run by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
With this investment, Megaplan plans to double its mackerel production capacity by improving facilities, including increasing the height of the tanks.
“This investment marks a significant turning point that will enable Megaplan’s dream of a ‘dollar mackerel’ to become reality,” said Yoo Cheol-won, CEO of Megaplan. “We will not only contribute to domestic food security, but also strive to end hunger around the world.”
Koo Byung-wook, head of the JDC Industrial Promotion Headquarters, said, “I am very pleased that Megaplan has grown steadily since moving in this year, including being selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ TIPS program and successfully attracting Pre-A investment.” He added, “Going forward, JDC will continue to support the growth of technology startups in various aspects, including technology, commercialization, and investment, together with KAIST, various Route330 accelerators, and venture capitalists, contributing to the innovation of Jeju’s industrial structure.”

メガプラン、投資誘致…「ブルーポイント-済州センターなど参加」
済州国際自由都市開発センター(理事長職務代行クァク・ジンギュ、以下JDC)は済州革新成長センターRoute330入社企業メガプラン(代表ユチョルウォン)が去る7月中基部ティップス(TIPS)選定に続き、フリーシリーズA投資まで誘致したと明らかにした。
今回の投資はブルーポイントパートナーズ、インフォバンク、済州創造経済革新センターが参加し、企業価値および投資規模は非公開だ。
メガプランの投資誘致は昨年、ザベンチャーズ、シエンティテック、AIエンジェルクラブなどを通じたシード投資以来2番目であり、今年7月中小ベンチャー企業部技術創業支援プログラムであるティップス(TIPS)対象企業に最終選定され技術力を認められた。
メガプランは今回の投資誘致を通じて水槽高さ改善などの施設改善を通じてサバ生産能力(Capacity)を2倍に拡張する計画だ。
ユチョルウォンメガプラン代表は「今回の投資はメガプランが描く「1ドルサバ」の夢が現実になることができる重要な転換点」とし、「国内食糧安全保障に寄与するだけでなく、全世界飢餓を終息できるように努力する」と抱負を伝えた。
ク・ビョンウクＪＤＣ産業育成本部長は「メガプランが今年入居した以後、中期部ティップス選定に続き、フリーＡ投資誘致まで成功するなど着実に成長して非常に嬉しい」とし「今後もＪＤＣはＫＡＩＳＴ、Ｒｏｕｔｅ３３０協力パートナーである多様なアクセラレーター、ベンチャーキャピタルと共に技術創業とともに技術・事業化済州産業構造の革新に貢献する」と話した。

Megaplan吸引投资……“Bluepoint、济州中心等参与”
济州国际自由城市开发中心（代理会长郭振圭，以下简称JDC）表示，位于济州革新成长中心330号国道的Megaplan株式会社（代表理事刘哲元）7月被中小企业风险投资部选定为TIPS企业，并吸引了Pre-A轮投资。
此次投资由Bluepoint Partners、Infobank、济州创造经济革新中心等参与，企业价值及投资金额均未公开。
这是Megaplan继去年获得The Ventures、CNT Tech和AI Angel Club的种子轮投资后的第二轮融资。今年7月，该公司还入选了中小企业部运营的科技创业扶持项目TIPS（技术孵化计划），其技术实力也得到了认可。
通过这项投资，Megaplan 计划通过改善设施（包括增加水箱高度）将其鲭鱼生产能力提高一倍。
Megaplan首席执行官Yoo Cheol-won表示：“这项投资标志着一个重要的转折点，它将使Megaplan‘美元鲭鱼’的梦想成为现实。我们不仅将为国内粮食安全做出贡献，还将努力消除世界各地的饥饿。”

Le Jeju International Free City Development Center (président par intérim Kwak Jin-gyu, ci-après JDC) a annoncé que Megaplan Co., Ltd. (PDG Yoo Cheol-won), une société située sur la route 330 du Jeju Innovation Growth Center, a attiré des investissements de pré-série A après avoir été sélectionnée comme société TIPS par le ministère des PME et des startups en juillet.
Cet investissement a été réalisé par Bluepoint Partners, Infobank et Jeju Creative Economy Innovation Center, et la valeur de l'entreprise et le montant de l'investissement n'ont pas été divulgués.
Il s'agit du deuxième tour de financement de Megaplan, après les investissements d'amorçage de The Ventures, CNT Tech et AI Angel Club l'année dernière. L'entreprise a également été reconnue pour ses prouesses technologiques en juillet dernier, lorsqu'elle a été sélectionnée dans le cadre du TIPS (Programme d'incubation technologique), un programme de soutien aux startups technologiques géré par le ministère des PME et des Startups.
Avec cet investissement, Megaplan prévoit doubler sa capacité de production de maquereau en améliorant les installations, notamment en augmentant la hauteur des réservoirs.
« Cet investissement marque un tournant majeur qui permettra à Megaplan de concrétiser son rêve d'un « maquereau à un dollar », a déclaré Yoo Cheol-won, PDG de Megaplan. « Nous contribuerons non seulement à la sécurité alimentaire nationale, mais nous nous efforcerons également d'éradiquer la faim dans le monde. »
Koo Byung-wook, directeur du siège de la promotion industrielle du JDC, a déclaré : « Je suis ravi que Megaplan ait connu une croissance constante depuis son arrivée cette année, notamment en étant sélectionné pour le programme TIPS du ministère des PME et des startups et en attirant avec succès des investissements Pre-A. » Il a ajouté : « À l'avenir, le JDC continuera de soutenir la croissance des startups technologiques dans divers domaines, notamment la technologie, la commercialisation et l'investissement, en collaboration avec le KAIST, divers accélérateurs Route330 et des investisseurs en capital-risque, contribuant ainsi à l'innovation du tissu industriel de Jeju. »
