Good People (Chairman Kim Cheon-su) , an international relief and development NGO, announced on the 21st that it had signed a business agreement with the Busan Youth Counseling and Welfare Center Council (Chairman Jeong Bong-hee) to support children and adolescents.
The agreement ceremony held on the 20th at the Busan Yeonje-gu Youth Counseling Welfare Center was attended by officials from both sides, including Good People Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Branch Operations Committee Chairman Yoon Seong-ho and Busan Regional Youth Counseling Welfare Center Council Chairman Jeong Bong-hee.
The Busan Regional Youth Counseling and Welfare Center Council is a council comprised of 18 youth counseling and welfare centers and out-of-school youth support centers in Busan. It provides professional counseling services to children and adolescents with support from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family and Busan Metropolitan City.
This agreement is significant in that it establishes a foundation for Good People to collaborate with all youth counseling and welfare centers and out-of-school youth support centers in Busan Metropolitan City to identify and support children and youth who are in welfare blind spots.
Good People plans to provide systematic support to underprivileged children and youth in conjunction with future campaigns and welfare projects.
Kim Cheon-su, Chairman of Good People, said, “We are delighted to be collaborating with the Busan Youth Counseling and Welfare Center Council, which works to help children grow up healthily,” and added, “We will continue to provide support so that children and youth can grow up brightly and healthily.”
