Bitsensing, a radar solutions company, announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ontact Health, a digital healthcare company, to jointly develop smart healthcare services. This agreement aims to combine the two companies' technological capabilities to precisely collect and analyze personal health data, including sleep, and to develop integrated healthcare solutions based on this data.
According to the agreement, the two companies plan to jointly pursue ▲technical cooperation for the development of smart healthcare services ▲development of new solutions that combine non-contact radar sleep sensors and AI-based health assessment technology ▲verification and commercialization of industry-specific services such as housing and senior care.
Beatsensing has developed a non-contact radar sleep sensor capable of precisely measuring biosignals with just one installation. This sensor can detect various biometric data, such as respiration, heart rate, and movement, in real time, providing high accessibility and precision even for individuals who have difficulty wearing wearable devices, such as the elderly and infants.
Ontact Health utilizes AI algorithms based on health data and lifestyle information to analyze health status, predict risk factors, categorize health types, and provide personalized health improvement reports. This technology has been validated by clinical experts, ensuring its reliability.
With various studies revealing a correlation between sleep and immunity, the two companies plan to build a prevention-focused healthcare system by integrating non-contact detection technology and AI analysis capabilities. They are particularly focused on the fact that sleep data is gaining recognition as a key foundation for immune system management, moving beyond simple health indicators.
“The main goal of this collaboration is to precisely measure sleep quality using non-contact sensor technology and link this to healthcare services,” said Lee Jae-eun, CEO of Bitsensing. “Through collaboration with Ontact Health, which has AI health assessment technology, we will be able to accelerate the development of practical healthcare services.”
Ontact Health CEO Jang Hyuk-jae said, “Health management services that occur naturally in daily life without the user’s knowledge are important,” and “Sleep is a key area among them, and this collaboration will be an important turning point in accelerating the commercialization of related solutions.”
