Onaepeople Co., Ltd. (CEO Jo Ah-young), an AI personal information protection technology company, announced that it won the Excellence Award in the ICT field at the '1st Small and Medium Business Technology Market Excellent Technology Competition' awards ceremony held at the '2025 Small and Medium Business Technology Market Sharing Yard' on September 2.
Hosted by the Korea Expressway Corporation and attended by numerous public institutions, this prestigious competition aims to discover outstanding technologies from domestic SMEs and support their public distribution channels. Onaepeople was selected as one of the ten finalists after a fiercely competitive written evaluation process against promising companies recommended by various public institutions. The final presentation, judged by a panel of nine external experts, highly praised the company's technological innovation and excellence, earning it the prestigious award.
In particular, Onaepeople's AI-based, one-stop personal information management automation solution, "CATCHSECU," captured the judges' attention as the most practical solution to the chronic personal information protection issues faced by public institutions. Indeed, many public institutions struggle to comply with the complex regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act due to budget and specialized personnel shortages. "CATCHSECU" automates the entire process, from personal information collection and consent to its destruction, enabling them to fully fulfill their legal obligations without expensive consulting or foreign solutions.
Last December, Onaepeople was designated as an "Innovative Product" by the Ministry of Science and ICT through the Small and Medium Business Technology Market. Furthermore, the company has already successfully delivered solutions to over 10 public institutions, including the Seoul Economic Promotion Agency (SBA) and the Korea Aerospace Research Institute, demonstrating its value in the field.
