Handys Signs Strategic Business Agreement with Seoul Senior Tower

Proptech company Handyz and Seoul Senior Tower announced on the 8th that they have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to address the era of active seniors. The agreement aims to jointly pursue various projects for active seniors seeking vibrant lives after retirement in line with our aging society.

The signing ceremony took place last week at the Handys headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and the two companies agreed to offer Handys memberships to residents of the newly developed "Retirement Village" in Gochang, North Jeolla Province. As a result, these members will receive discounts at "Urban Stay," a nationwide accommodation facility operated by Handys with approximately 3,800 rooms across 27 locations. The two companies also plan to continue their collaboration on newly opened rooms and facilities.

Handys is leading proptech innovation in the domestic lodging industry by introducing technologies like direct check-in and smart pricing based on its proprietary property management system (PMS). Founded in 1998, Seoul Senior Tower operates 1,600-unit senior centers nationwide, offering comprehensive senior services including recreation, medical care, and caregiving.

Handyz CEO Jeong Seung-ho stated, "Through our collaboration with Seoul Senior Tower, we will combine innovative technology and operational expertise to present a new paradigm in the senior housing market." Seoul Senior Tower CEO Lee Jong-gyun stated, "We expect that the 30 years of operational experience combined with Handyz's technological prowess will provide an enhanced housing model for active seniors."
