POSCO, Korea's first electronic document and electronic contract platform company, announced on the 8th that it has signed a business partnership agreement (MOU) with Jikse Technology, an artificial intelligence-based digital design platform company, for digital transformation (DX) and AI transformation (AX) drives and marketing in the construction, manufacturing, and education industries.
This collaboration is expected to be a significant catalyst for accelerating digital innovation in engineering in sectors like construction and manufacturing, which have traditionally maintained conservative work environments. The combination of Posisys' proven electronic document and electronic contract solutions and Zix Technology's digital design and engineering expertise is expected to significantly contribute to improving work efficiency and creating an environment for increased productivity in both sectors. Through this MOU, the two companies have identified strategic cross-selling and joint marketing as key areas of cooperation.
A POSCO official stated, “The construction and manufacturing industries are facing a significant opportunity for change in the digital transformation process,” and added, “Through strategic cooperation with Zigs Technology, we will build an optimal electronic document and electronic contract environment tailored to the characteristics of the industry and together lead digital innovation across the industry.”
A representative from Jikse Technology emphasized, “Forces’ long-standing paperless technology and market-proven stability make it a reliable partner for the digital transformation essential for the construction and manufacturing industries, which are cautious about change.” He added, “The combined expertise of the two companies will provide tangible value to our clients for business innovation and enhanced competitiveness.”
Meanwhile, PosiS CEO Park Mi-kyung said, “PosiS has maintained its No. 1 position in Korea based on electronic document solutions developed with our own technology, and is now preparing for a new leap forward on the global stage.” She added, “This collaboration with Zigs Technology will be an important opportunity to build a new digital ecosystem encompassing design and electronic documents, helping customers conduct their work in a safer and more efficient environment.”
