Dinoz Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Ga-young), which operates the mobile app 'Parenting Crew', and the Korea Future Population Research Institute (Chairman Jeong Un-chan, Director Lee In-sil) announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation on population policies to address low birth rates and create a child-rearing-friendly environment.
This agreement aims to contribute to creating a sustainable childcare environment and improving population structure by jointly promoting population policy research and activities to improve social awareness related to marriage, childbirth, and childcare.
Founded in 2022, the Korea Future Population Research Institute is a non-profit, private population policy research institute that conducts research and response strategies for population structural changes.
According to the agreement, the two organizations plan to establish a cooperative system in various fields, including ▲joint research on population policy and childcare environment ▲sharing of policy data and information ▲cooperation on events and campaigns ▲connection with a network of experts.
Dinoz operates the "Parenting Crew" app, a community-based parenting platform, supporting communication and information sharing among parents. Currently, it offers "Jjak Crew," a one-on-one parenting buddy matching service, primarily in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon. Dinoz also collaborates with the Korea Childcare Promotion Institute and regional childcare support centers to address low birth rates.
Through this agreement, the Korea Future Population Research Institute plans to expand population policy research and implementation projects that reflect the needs and voices of the field.
The two organizations plan to pursue collaborative projects in stages, including joint research, social campaigns, and the development of childcare support programs.
