Crescom (CEO Jaejun Lee), a company specializing in AI-based medical image analysis solutions, announced on the 15th that it had been selected for the '2025 Innovation Premier 1000' program.
The 'Innovation Premier 1000' is a project in which 13 government ministries, including the Financial Services Commission, participate to discover and support small and medium-sized enterprises with growth and innovation potential. Selected companies are provided with various support measures, including policy financing, research and development (R&D) points, management consulting, and market development.
Crescom has been recognized for its practicality and technological prowess in the medical field through its "MediAI-BA" bone age analysis solution for growing children and "MediAI-OA" knee arthritis diagnostic assistance solution. Both solutions are currently used in hundreds of hospitals and clinics domestically and internationally, contributing to improved accuracy and interpretation efficiency.
"MediAI-BA" analyzes hand X-ray images in less than five seconds to estimate bone age in growing children, achieving an accuracy of 0.39 years with an average absolute error. The test results are linked to the growth management app "Onjaram," allowing parents to manage growth trends and lifestyle habits.
"MediAI-OA" analyzes knee joint X-ray images to quantify the progression of degenerative arthritis, including joint space reduction and osteophyte formation. It is used for early diagnosis and follow-up. This solution is increasingly being adopted by medical institutions, including screening centers, orthopedic clinics, and rehabilitation medicine departments.
Crescom continues to enhance its solutions, including enhancing accuracy and user convenience, as well as adding statistical visualizations and health information capabilities.
Lee Jae-jun, CEO of Crescom, said, “Being selected as one of the Innovation Premier 1000 is a meaningful validation of the technological achievements our company has made,” and added, “We will continue to strive to develop practical solutions that can be felt by both medical professionals and patients.”
