Sage Participates in the 2025 Korea Construction Safety Expo

SAIGE (Co-CEOs Jong-Woo Park and Young-Seok Hong), an industry-specialized vision AI company, announced that it will participate in the '2025 Korea Construction Safety Expo (K-CONSAFETYEXPO)' to be held at KINTEX 1st Exhibition Hall in Goyang for three days from September 17th to 19th.

At this exhibition, Sage will showcase cutting-edge technologies for innovation in construction site safety management, centered around its AI-based safety monitoring solution, "SAIGE SAFETY." "SAIGE SAFETY" is an AI-based intelligent safety monitoring system that utilizes existing CCTV cameras to detect hazardous situations on construction sites in real time. Key detection functions include warnings of workers not wearing safety helmets, trespassing into dangerous areas, warnings of heavy equipment approaching, detection of workers falling, and fire and smoke detection, all of which can prevent various safety accidents that may occur on construction sites. Notably, Sage SAFETY utilizes existing CCTV infrastructure, enabling immediate implementation without complex hardware installation, and provides a real-time monitoring system capable of integrated control of multiple sites.

'Sage Safety' received certification in four categories: 'loitering,' 'intrusion,' 'collapse,' and 'arson' in the intelligent CCTV performance test certification by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA). This officially proves the performance of the AI-based safety detection system and signifies that it has secured technological reliability that can be immediately applied to construction sites. In addition, it was selected for the 'Technology Development Product Pilot Purchase System' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and is currently conducting pilot purchase services for approximately 550 public institutions nationwide. In December of last year, it was selected as an 'Industrial Convergence Innovation Item' by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, acknowledging its technological prowess in the public sector.

Lee Seong-woo, Director of Sage Marketing, stated, "Construction site safety management still relies on traditional, manpower-dependent methods, which has limited its ability to prevent major accidents. Sage Safety, however, will revolutionize the construction site safety management paradigm by providing 24-hour real-time monitoring through AI technology and enabling proactive response through immediate notifications in the event of a hazardous situation." He added, "Through this exhibition, we will demonstrate the effectiveness of our AI-based smart safety management system to construction industry stakeholders and become a partner in the digital transformation that will elevate safety at construction sites to the next level."
