Chungnam Content Promotion Agency Signs Business Agreement with Black Dragon Enterprise

The Chungnam Content Promotion Agency (President Kim Gok-mi, hereinafter referred to as the Agency) and Black Dragon Enterprise (CEO Lee Ki-seok) announced on September 17th that they signed a "Business Agreement for the Development of the Chungnam Region's Film Industry." This agreement signing ceremony was held to strengthen the competitiveness of the Chungnam region's film industry through support for film production, location scouting, and filming location discovery in the region.

Through this collaboration, we plan to pursue various cooperative measures for the development of both organizations, including ▲collaboration in discovering filming locations and location scouting in the Chungcheongnam-do region, ▲attracting and supporting filming for video production companies such as movies and dramas, and ▲cooperation in content production and promotion.

Black Dragon Enterprise is a specialized location scouting company for film and drama productions, providing services such as location discovery and contracting, as well as equipment and personnel support. Drawing on its experience operating a filming network in major regions across the country, Black Dragon Enterprise is poised to actively connect South Chungcheong Province's diverse filming resources to domestic and international production companies.

Through collaboration, the two organizations have successfully attracted filming of large-scale domestic and international content to South Chungcheong Province, including the 100% English-language film "Pig Village" starring Ma Dong-seok, targeting Hollywood and the global market, the next film by director Kim Han-min, "The Sword of Godumakhan," which has attracted 10 million viewers, and the Netflix series "Slowly, Intensely" starring Song Hye-kyo.

Through this agreement, the Promotion Agency plans to organically connect South Chungcheong Province's abundant filming resources with the content industry, strengthening its regional identity and further establishing a foundation for a film industry that can compete in the global market. Attracting film production to South Chungcheong Province is expected to revitalize the local economy, particularly in areas like tourism, accommodation, and transportation.

CEO Lee Ki-seok said, “This agreement is an important opportunity to effectively utilize the resources of South Chungcheong Province and maximize the potential of the film industry,” and added, “We will spare no effort in providing the practical resources required on set and strive to establish South Chungcheong Province as the optimal filming location sought after by domestic and foreign production companies.”

Director Kim Gok-mi said, “South Chungcheong Province is attracting attention as an optimal location for video production due to its rich natural environment and historical and cultural resources,” and added, “We will develop South Chungcheong Province into a representative video industry hub in Korea by combining the content support capabilities of the Promotion Agency and Black Dragon Enterprise’s location expertise.”
