Robotics media content company Sanghwa Co., Ltd. (CEO Beomjun Jeong) and global K-food convergence company Milzip Co., Ltd. (CEO Seokmin Song, Inbeom Hwang) announced on the 29th that they have signed a comprehensive business agreement for the global expansion of K-POP and K-WAVE.

Under this agreement, Sanghwa will develop and build new media utilizing interactive, 3D anamorphic, and other realistic technologies, and plan, develop, and supply differentiated content. Milzip will be responsible for completing the Mapdal SEOUL global network and planning and promoting related businesses. "Mapdal SEOUL," currently being prepared by Milzip, is an immersive offline fandom space for K-pop fans around the world. Beyond being a space for K-pop fandom, it will also provide a stage for the K-culture industry.

The two companies plan to jointly contribute to the global expansion of Korean Wave content, particularly through business cooperation on K-POP and K-WAVE, and to develop new business models that combine each other's capabilities.

Sanghwa has been presenting innovative and progressive media solutions based on robotics media technology at global events such as CES, MWC, and IFA. Recently, the company has successfully completed large-scale media projects, including the production of Shinsegae Square's timeline content "Timeless Moment" and the construction of Songpa-gu's landmark media center, "Songpa The Sphere," solidifying its unrivaled position in the specialized media solutions industry.

Sanghwa CEO Jeong Beom-jun said, “Through this agreement with Miljip, we expect that Sanghwa’s media technology will be combined with Korea’s representative cultural content, K-POP, to create new value in the global market,” and “Through the synergy between our two companies, we will contribute to the spread of Korean Wave culture and at the same time, achieve new innovations in the field of media technology.”
