The Korea Teachers Credit Union signed a business agreement with the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education and the Gyeonggi Small Business Association.

The Korea Teachers Credit Union (Chairman Jeong Gap-yoon) announced on the 2nd that it signed a three-party business agreement with the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Tae-hee) and the Gyeonggi Provincial Small Business Association (Chairman Lee Sang-baek) on the 1st to promote mutual growth among local small business owners.

This agreement, held at the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, aims to enhance transparency and fairness in educational institution contracting processes and expand opportunities for local small business owners to participate in the public procurement market, thereby contributing to the revitalization of the local economy.

Under the agreement, the Korea Teachers' Credit Union will prioritize S2B system improvement suggestions, support S2B briefings and training for businesses in the Gyeonggi region, promote preferential purchasing from local businesses for faculty and staff, and provide usage statistics for each institution. The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education plans to encourage participation in schools by encouraging small business owners to join S2B, cooperating with education support offices for training and education, and conducting quarterly transaction performance reviews. The Gyeonggi Federation of Small Businesses will be responsible for providing on-site support, including guidance and support for local businesses' S2B registration, conducting briefings and training, conducting business status surveys, and managing supplies.

Jeong Gap-yoon, Chairman of the Korea Teachers Credit Union, said, “This agreement is an important opportunity to establish a sustainable, win-win model where educational institutions and local small business owners can grow together,” and added, “Going forward, the Credit Union will take the lead in creating a foundation where local communities and educational sites can grow together through S2B.”
