
Display specialist company Witz (CEO Eung-Tae Kim) announced that it will participate in the 'Global Gaming Expo (G2E)' held in Las Vegas, USA, to unveil its new products and technologies and expand its gaming display business and target the global market.
G2E, the largest gaming industry exhibition, features approximately 400 companies from 120 countries worldwide. Held in Las Vegas, USA, from October 7th to 9th, Witz participated again this year, showcasing a variety of products utilizing Curved Mini LED and Transparent Mini LED technologies.
In particular, the company said that the 49-inch J-Curve model (which achieves the effect of combining three small monitors) and the 27-inch mini LED BLU that provides OLED-level picture quality and contrast ratio have received great interest from local buyers.
Witz evaluated this exhibition as an opportunity to enhance its technological competitiveness and brand awareness in the global gaming display market. Furthermore, the company announced that it signed a pre-order agreement with North American gaming equipment company EGADS on-site and is currently in discussions with some partners to pursue new projects.
According to market research firms, the global casino gaming equipment market is estimated to be worth approximately $12 billion (approximately 17 trillion won) by 2024 and is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 5-6% through 2032. The gaming display market, which Witz focuses on, is valued at approximately 1 trillion won, and demand for premium products centered on high-resolution and special-format displays is growing.
In line with these industry changes, Witz is continuously strengthening its product lineup utilizing premium mini LED and transparent display technologies and is pursuing expansion of its overseas market share, focusing on North America and Europe.
A company official said, “Through our participation in G2E, we were able to directly confirm the global market’s demand and response to our mini LED-based technology,” and added, “We plan to expand our position in the global gaming display market through continuous technological advancement and premium product strategy.”
