The '7th Gyeonggi Village Media Achievement Sharing Meeting', hosted by Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency (Director Yong-seok Tak, hereinafter referred to as Gyeongconjin) and organized by the Suwon Cultural Foundation and Suwon Media Center, was held at the Suwon Media Center on October 16.
This event is a place where village media activity entities in Gyeonggi Province can gather to share the results of their activities and interact with each other. This year, the Suwon City Media Center was selected as the venue through a public contest to utilize cultural resources owned by the city and county.
The performance sharing event consisted of expert lectures and performances, a contest awards ceremony, and a pitching day. Various programs included a special lecture on "Media Content Production in the AI Era," a performance by Suwon youth buskers, a Gyeonggi Village Media Pitching Day, and an awards ceremony for outstanding village media. Awards were given in the categories of Outstanding Gyeonggi Village Media, New Village Media, Regional-Based Village Media, and Outstanding Pitching.
In addition, an experiential program utilizing the broadcasting production facilities of Suwon City Media Center was also operated, and participants had the opportunity to experience ▲video chroma key experience ▲profile shooting ▲announcer experience ▲open radio broadcasting, etc.
Meanwhile, a total of 203 contents were submitted to the 'Gyeonggi Village Media Contest' held in conjunction with this performance sharing session, and 22 of these were selected as excellent works and an awards ceremony was held on site.
Gyeonggi Province Village Media Director Tak Yong-seok said, “The performance sharing meeting, which is being held again after a year, is a valuable opportunity for village media officials in Gyeonggi Province to meet and communicate in person,” and added, “We will continue to support the strengthening of village media capabilities and the expansion of regional networks, focusing on city and county media centers.”
