Fridays Lab attracts investment… "Promoting advancement of AI marketing technology"

Fridays Lab (CEO Youngjae Lim), an AI marketing solutions company, announced on the 22nd that it has secured Series A Bridge II round investment from Laguna Investment and Smilegate, focusing on its AI-based email marketing platform, Retentics. The investment amount was undisclosed.

Retentix is an AI-powered CRM marketing platform for D2C brands. It analyzes customer purchase history and behavioral data to automate personalized email marketing, including refill incentives, cross-selling, and churn prevention. The platform leverages email as a central channel, delivering high sales conversion rates relative to volume.

Since entering the US market in 2023, Fridays Lab has been improving its services in various ways to reflect the practical marketing challenges faced by its clients. Through interviews with hundreds of brand marketers, Fridays Lab identified customer retention and repeat purchases as key marketing priorities. This led to the enhancement of personalized timing prediction and product recommendation features.

Based on this investment, Fridays Lab plans to focus on ▲advancing its AI marketing technology, ▲expanding its client base in the North American market, and ▲expanding its global services. Starting in the first half of next year, the company plans to deploy a more aggressive overseas expansion strategy based on proven case studies.
