Gomi Corporation Vietnam announced on the 28th that it has signed a supply contract for domestic premium baby products and K-beauty products with KidsPlaza, the number one platform in the Vietnamese baby products market.
Kids Plaza is a retail platform specializing in infant products, operating over 200 offline stores across Vietnam and its own online mall. With a product curation policy that prioritizes safety and quality, Kids Plaza has earned the trust of local consumers and established a unique position in the Vietnamese infant market.
Under this agreement, Gomi Corporation Vietnam and Kids Plaza will supply domestic infant products through Kids Plaza's online and offline channels. The two companies will collaborate as key partners on this project, sharing marketing strategies and localization expertise in addition to product supply.
“The Vietnamese baby market is growing by more than 15% annually, driven by the expansion of the middle class and the rising birth rate,” said a representative of Gomi Corporation Vietnam. “Through our collaboration with Kids Plaza, which has a network of over 200 stores, we will be able to introduce Korean baby brands to a wider consumer base.”
He said, “Through this contract, we will play a role in helping small and medium-sized Korean brands enter the Vietnamese market,” and “We will support Korean brands’ entry into the Southeast Asian market by securing local distribution networks, collecting consumer information, and supporting legal compliance.”
Since establishing its Vietnamese subsidiary in 2019, Gomi Corporation has been distributing various Korean brands, including K-beauty, K-food, and K-living, to the Vietnamese and Southeast Asian markets . Currently, Gomi Corporation is strengthening its omnichannel distribution structure, which integrates its own marketplace, Gomi Mall, online commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop), and offline retail, establishing itself as a "global gateway for K-brands."
With growing interest in Korean Wave content and K-beauty in Vietnam, Gomi Corporation's K-brand curation capabilities are attracting attention. The company plans to expand its product categories to include health functional foods and pet supplies, and expand its business to key Southeast Asian markets, including the Middle East (MENA) region, Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, and Indonesia.
