Payhere Signs Business Agreement with Field Kitchen

Integrated store management platform Payhere (CEO Park Jun-ki) announced on the 30th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Field Kitchen (CEO Kang Gyu-won), a restaurant franchise company, and will begin building smart stores.

The signing ceremony held at the PayHere headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul on the 29th was attended by PayHere Chief Business Officer (CBO) Seok-ho Yoon and Field Kitchen CEO Gyu-won Kang, as well as officials from both companies.

Under this agreement, Payhere will provide Field Kitchen's flagship brand, "1992 Rice Bowl & Jjagal-i," with an integrated solution that includes a POS (Point of Sale), a kiosk, a KDS (Kitchen Order Management System), and a DID (Order Number Display). This will automate customer processes, including ordering, payment, calling, pickup, and review writing, thereby enhancing franchisee efficiency.

Additionally, we're strengthening our marketing support by leveraging the integration between Payhere POS and Naver Place. When paying at a kiosk, points are automatically accrued and a Place review request notification is automatically sent. Customers can write reviews without receipt verification, enabling merchants to quickly secure high-quality reviews.

Field Kitchen has been implementing various support measures to ease the financial burden on franchisees, including waiving franchise fees and reducing unit delivery prices. The establishment of this smart store represents a technological extension of this strategy, aiming to simultaneously enhance franchisees' operational efficiency and sales competitiveness.

Kang Gyu-won, CEO of Field Kitchen, said, "By partnering with PayHere to provide integrated customer management capabilities, franchisees can now operate their stores more conveniently." Yoon Seok-ho, CBO of PayHere, stated, "It is significant that we have implemented an integrated solution across over 100 locations nationwide. We will continue to enhance our functionality to reflect the needs of both franchisees and headquarters."
