The Gyeonggi Content Agency (President Tak Yong-seok, hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Content Agency) announced on the 30th that it held the "2025 Gyeonggi Level Up Demo Day" on October 29th. Under the slogan "Dynamic Delight Deal!", the event was attended by approximately 150 people, including local content startups and private investors.
At the event, Megastudy Chairman Son Joo-eun emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship in a special congratulatory address, and Song Gil-young, author of "Sidae Yebo," gave a keynote speech on corporate strategies for the AI era.
This year's Demo Day was attended by approximately 70 investors from Gyeonggi Level Up Invest Partners (G-VIP), a fund interested in investing in Gyeonggi-do content companies, and 70 content startups. The event consisted of three sessions: ▲LevelUP Game ▲LevelUP K-POP/Performance ▲LevelUP AI Contents. Through investment case presentations, IR pitching, and VC roundtable discussions, the next-generation content industry trends, including artificial intelligence (AI), subculture, and intellectual property (IP), were discussed from various angles.
At the event, Kyungconjin released an AI video highlighting its key achievements for the year. As of September 2025, the company achieved: 108 billion won in cumulative related funds, 593 investment consultations, and 41.27 billion won in investment attraction.
In addition, Kyungconjin announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for new investment attraction support with seven organizations, including the Korea Angel Investment Association, Korea Investment Partners, Tap Angel Partners, Blue Point Partners, Venture Invest, Hana Ventures, and D-Camp, bringing the cumulative number of participating organizations in G-VIP to 100.
The event also shared the investment performance of local content companies. Super Engine, a webtoon creation AI solution company, secured 2 billion won in investment through Smart Study Ventures, the operator of "Opportunity Fund 6" of the Gyeonggi Province-affiliated fund. A total of 13 content companies signed investment commitments totaling approximately 4.8 billion won.
Tak Yong-seok, the president of Kyungkonjin, said, “We will work hard to provide policy support and expand infrastructure so that startups can continue to grow,” and added, “I hope that this Demo Day will serve as a catalyst for concluding the achievements of 2025 and a new leap forward toward 2026.”
