Refundy (CEO Park Shin-wook), a startup developing an AI-based refund automation solution, has been selected for the 2025 TIPS Global Track, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. With this selection, Refundy will receive up to 1.2 billion won in research and development (R&D) funding over a period of up to three years.
Refundy has developed an automated refund solution for global sellers in open markets. It uses AI to track real-time price fluctuations and automatically refund the difference in discounts. Users can load their order history from the past 30 days via a Chrome extension and configure the AI to automatically process refunds. The company generates revenue by collecting a portion of the refund amount as a commission.
This selection for the TIPS Global Track will serve as an opportunity for Refundy to advance its AI-based "seller automation" technology and expand into the global commerce market. Over the next three years, Refundy plans to develop four AI agents and establish an "AI Orchestration" system to integrate and coordinate them. Furthermore, by expanding its revenue models based on SaaS, SDK, and DaaS (data sales), Refundy aims to become a leading AI commerce operation infrastructure for global sellers.
CEO Park Shin-wook stated, “This selection as a TIPS Global Track is a turning point for us to leap forward as a data hub and infrastructure for AI commerce,” and added, “We will reduce sellers’ repetitive tasks and realize the era of the ‘AI Seller,’ where AI will take charge of everything from order processing to profit forecasting and strategy formulation.”
