FOCCC (CEO Kim Deok-young) announced that it has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Japanese travel service company Flying Japan (CEO Shin Dong-hwan) to advance the K-perfume brand's offline presence in Japan. This agreement aims to provide the Heroes of Korea brand experience to local consumers and global tourists, focusing on the Osaka area.
This MOU includes key items such as ▲joint operation of the Heroes of Korea offline pop-up store ▲cooperation in the development of the Flying Japan perfume brand, and the two companies plan to fully implement the cooperation project through a detailed agreement.
Flying Japan operates the "Flying Japan Traveler Center" on the first floor of Osaka's Namba Edion, a shopping center with a daily footfall of approximately 550,000 people. Through this agreement, the company will jointly operate a Heroes of Korea pop-up store within the space, providing a K-perfume brand experience to local and global tourists.
This MOU also includes FOC's participation as a fragrance and brand planning partner in the development of Flying Japan's own perfume brand. Going forward, collaboration will include perfume planning and development, brand consulting, and overall production, reflecting local Japanese tastes.
Flying Japan CEO Shin Dong-hwan said, “We expect this collaboration to deliver a strong brand impression to both local Japanese consumers and global travelers,” adding, “We plan to expand projects that connect space-based content with brand experiences in the future.”
“This agreement is significant in that it goes beyond simple exports and is a global expansion focused on localization and partnerships,” said FOC CEO Kim Deok-young. “It is meaningful to be able to convey the story and meaning of Heroes of Korea, a representative K-perfume brand, together with Flying Japan.”
