Schneider Electric Korea (Korea Branch Representative Jiwoong Kwon), a global energy management and automation company, announced that it held 'Innovation Day (Innovation Day: EcoStruxure for Contractors, Seoul 2025)' in Seoul on November 13 for customers in the EPC, plant & infrastructure, and data center industries.
This event was designed to address the accelerating digital transformation and decarbonization of the industrial environment, and to share strategies for expanding into the North American market, smart infrastructure, and next-generation digital solutions for achieving carbon neutrality. Approximately 200 industry representatives, including SK Ecoplant, Samsung E&A, Hyundai Engineering, and Hyundai Engineering & Construction, attended the event.
The event, held from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, consisted of nine technical presentation sessions and an exhibition demo zone. Nancy Lin, Vice President of Power Systems Commercial at Schneider Electric, delivered a welcoming address titled "Schneider Electric's New Vision: Designing the Future of Innovation in the EPC Industry." Expert presentation sessions presented solutions to digital transformation and sustainability across the industry, including "Global EPC Trends," "Decarbonization Acceleration Strategies," and "Optimized Power Systems for Building AI Data Centers."
The exhibition demo zone provided an opportunity to experience firsthand devices necessary for industrial environments where power quality is critical, such as SPDs, automatic transfer switches (ATS), digital air insulated, and eco-friendly medium-voltage switchgear (SM AirSeT).
Nam Jeong-hwa, Head of Power Systems Business Unit at Schneider Electric Korea, said, “This Innovation Day was a meaningful opportunity to share the challenges faced by customers in the EPC and data center industries and introduce global insights and technology strategies.” He added, “We will continue to play a role as a strategic partner that supports industrial customers in solving their problems based on our expertise in electrification, automation, and digitalization.”
