Metabuild Launches AI-Based Welfare Administration Platform Development Project

Metabuild (CEO Cho Poong-yeon) announced on the 14th that it has launched a project to build a next-generation welfare administration AI platform that will support the entire welfare administration cycle, holding a launch briefing session for its "Development and Demonstration of an AI-Based Public Welfare Guidance Solution." Representatives from the lead agency, local governments, and participating technology organizations attended the briefing, where they shared the project's direction and demonstration plans and initiated a collaborative framework.

This project is part of the inter-agency AI expansion project (Public AX Project) led by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency. With a total budget of 3 billion won, it will be implemented over two years until 2026. Metabuild will develop AI-based solutions that support the entire welfare benefit lifecycle, from application to post-service management, and conduct field demonstrations in various types of pilot local governments, including large-scale, medium-scale, and small-scale projects.

This project is a representative public AX project that introduces generative AI technologies, such as LLM, RAGOps, Agent/MCP, OCR, and Document AI, across public administration. It aims to create AI-powered welfare service innovations that citizens can experience. The first year will involve building AI welfare administration data, designing AI services, and establishing AI infrastructure and a development environment. The second year will involve validation based on approximately 1.2 million data sets, including social security benefit applications and submissions, as well as individual income, asset, security, and qualification information.

Metabuild utilizes its proprietary AI integrated platform, "LLaMON AX," to rapidly conduct quality verification and validation. "LLaMON AX" integrates cutting-edge AI technologies, including a large-scale language model, Advanced RAG-based hybrid search, document recognition-based Document AI, task-specific intelligent agents, and an MCP hub for external system integration. It implements AI-powered administrative services, including automatic analysis of welfare benefit applications, customized service recommendations, administrative support, and integrated welfare information search.

Metabuild AI CEO Seongbae Jeon said, “This project is not only about technology development, but also a demonstration project where AI can actually help citizens and public officials in administrative settings.” He added, “Based on Metabuild’s AI platform capabilities and public-private cooperation model, we will lead the transition to AX in welfare administration.”
