RaonSecure's Managing Director Park Hyun-woo received the Minister of Science and ICT's commendation at the Digital Innovation Award.

Park Hyun-woo, Head of Security Development at LaonSecure, an IT security and authentication platform company, announced on the 17th that he received a commendation from the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and ICT at the "2025 Korea Digital Innovation Awards." This commendation is given to individuals who have contributed to strengthening the nation's digital competitiveness and cybersecurity innovation.

Managing Director Park Hyun-woo was recognized for his contributions to the advancement of the security industry, overseeing the development and commercialization of key technologies such as zero-trust security, generative AI security, and quantum-resistant cryptography (PQC). He spearheaded the advancement of multi-factor authentication-based integrated authentication platform "OnePass," enterprise device management platform "OneGuard," and integrated account authorization management platform "TouchEn Wiseaccess," contributing to the enhancement of Korea's security technology competitiveness.

With the government recently strengthening its zero-trust-based security policy, the application of LaonSecure's related solutions is expected to expand. Managing Director Park is also leading the development of AI security technologies to address the proliferation of generative AI. The company is developing a variety of security features, including deepfake detection, homomorphic encryption-based AI facial recognition, AI-based malware and smishing detection, and AI-generated content identification technology.

In particular, generative AI-based deepfake detection technology is being applied to the free mobile antivirus app "Laon Mobile Security" to prevent social harm. Real-time detection capabilities during voice and video calls are planned for future updates. Furthermore, Managing Director Park is overseeing research and development on quantum-resistant cryptography technology in preparation for the quantum computing era, and Laon Secure is sequentially applying this technology to its security solutions starting in 2024.
