Caredoc and Polaris Advisors Sign MOU to Jointly Develop High-End Wellness Senior Housing

Senior total care company Caredoc (CEO Jae-Byeong Park) announced that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with wellness real estate consulting firm Polaris Advisor (CEO Lee-Kyung Han) for the development of high-end senior housing and wellness-specific residences, and will embark on joint development of next-generation high-end senior housing.

Caredoc has garnered attention from the financial and real estate industries for its numerous achievements, including expanding its market reach through its premium senior residential care brands, "Care Home" and "Nursing Home." These achievements include securing investment from global investment firm Invesco, establishing a joint venture with senior housing operator "Care Operation," and securing operational project financing. Starting next year, Caredoc plans to accelerate its nationwide expansion by strengthening its brand lineup, including hotel-style senior housing.

This agreement focuses on developing high-end senior housing that integrates a wellness lifestyle with senior care and housing. Key areas of collaboration include joint development of wellness hospitality content, establishment of standards for senior-tailored spaces and services, and consultation on care home brand guidelines. Caredoc plans to upgrade its existing operating manual, "Care Home 2.0," to a hotel-level standard and, based on this, gradually expand its brand to include wellness-focused products.

Additionally, Caredoc is renewing its Care Home brand by segmenting it into three types: "Classe," "Premio," and "Lucé." Polaris Advisors will provide space design and content planning advice for each type, as well as continue to advise on operational advancements. The high-end Luce line, in particular, offers hotel-level facilities and premium care services, along with wellness lifestyle content and resort-level amenities.

The two companies will jointly develop customized wellness programs for seniors and conduct research to improve physical, emotional, and cognitive health, with the goal of upgrading the domestic senior housing market and expanding customized housing options.

Park Jae-byeong, CEO of Caredoc, said, "This agreement will accelerate the development of high-quality wellness senior housing that elevates the quality of senior care and housing. We will continue to introduce innovative senior housing models and open new horizons in both domestic and international markets." Han Lee-kyung, CEO of Polaris Advisors, stated, "By leveraging the assets of both companies, we will realize a world-class wellness senior housing model."
